How exactly do I use it? Do I need a bat file to run it? If so, what do I write in it?
How exactly do I use it? Do I need a bat file to run it? If so, what do I write in it?
To convert one mesh: Fb_BF1_mesh <mesh> <chunk> If you can somehow make <mesh> <chunk> pairs, then surely you can write a batch. But if you don't know which chunk goes to which mesh, you can't. Also this will only work if all meshes in a batch will use same skeleton. I don't know exactly what you need, so I can't tell more details based on your description.
I need hard to rig models, namely the bicycles, with their exposed springs. Also the crossbow, rigging the arms and the string realistically is proving quite bothersome. On a side note, does this assemble weapons? Because so far we need to assemble them manually, and I want to know whether or not all the work I have been doing until now has been rendered pointless before I continue.
If you only need bicycles and crossbow, you don't need a batch. Just run tool from command line for each mesh. I believe you can find a corresponding skeleton EBX for them? If not, tell me mesh names and I can try and find them. This tool currently doesn't assemble anything. But I'm almost sure there is some EBX file with so called "Kits" for all weapons, that contains all info for assembling. Just like there are kits which tell character parts for each character.
The Kits part may be for assembling weapon addons and skins actually. I tried running it, but it keeps giving out weird exception errors. The EBX files seem to use the same folder structure as normal meshes, so finding the skeletons for the 3 models I want was easy.
The Kits part may be for assembling weapon addons and skins actually.
It doesn't matter. The game assembles them. It means I can find data how to assemble it. Send me chunk, mesh & skeleton files here or in PM, and I'll check the errors.
Garford Putilov? AWESOME

Very nice, cant wait for the others
Very nice, cant wait for the others
What do you want?
The rig is surprisingly simple. Three bones in the center to move the grenade, two rotating bones on sides to adjust rope ends. I need to find the asset for correct bone positions, but even manually adjusted they look good enough for me. p.s. there was weird problem with the tool, I will investigate it soon.
Yeah the skeleton isn't the issue, it's just the rig that annoys me. Like the springs on the motorcycles, it's a bitch to rig.
Are the russian uniforms going to be ported too?
There are people working on them.

Thank you very much, I can't open some of the textures, or they are just plain black, but thx.

This crossbow for example, this moving bones to correct positions was like... assembling?

Quick question; How would I know which mesh goes with which chunk? Edit: Never mind, I figured it out.
What was the problem with this? Don't tell me that you were getting static model and trying to separate vertices manually. This would be pain. But don't worry, this only took me about 5 minutes to convert with my tool. I spent more time finding and extracting meshset & chunk from game files.
Thank you very much, I can't open some of the textures, or they are just plain black, but thx.
Use C tex converter. The existing BF1 Vehicle importer assembles vehicles and brings out the original bones, but the rig is gone and the bones are damaged.
Also, can someone extract rest of greatcoat? Would be great.
"Use C tex converter." Which converter is that?
Anybody got the M91 mosin extracted?

Many thanks!
http://rgho.st/6v7s4rPLs
Thank you my friend.
Hey, you told me to use C texture converter, where can i find it? And will you upload the Garford Putilov? Thx in advance
He already uploaded it.
