You did not assemble it properly though, some parts are in the wrong places and the bayonet should not be fitted onto this barrel. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/455461666763571200/493319422774083584/vetterlivitalim1870.rar Here's a correctly assembled version, includes textures as well.
That's right, the parts are wrong ... Thank you for notifying

Dimka51Rus, I think you should upload most of BF1's sound files. There was this dump I found a while back, but the link is dead. I'd much appreciate if you could do it. DLC and Xpack sounds are much welcomed. VO sounds are not necessarily needed, but I would love it if you took the time.

Don't worry. I'm sure I have enough room for all of that on my hard drive. You can put them in separate zip/rar files to make downloading it easier.
Okay, to be fair, I don't want them ALL... Maybe just the VO & Xpack folders... and the weapon sounds. You can just pack the individual folders into zip files. I'll let you now If I want something else.

Thank you. I'll notify you if I need anything else.
@Dimka51Rus , hope not to bother you (again), but could you share the Vetterli? Link is dead. P.S.: carbine version too, please (and just model, non textures, I don't need them). Thanks.

The carbine barrel looks off, like its not in the right position.
@Dimka51Rus , thanks, but why the model is so low poly? @Portugalotaku , I've just found the Vetterli you shared sometime ago in this page, but I cannot put the various elements in the right position. Do you have the correctly assembled version too?
What do you mean? the version I shared is correctly assembled.
I mean ... the only 3D program I use is Cinema 4D, and when I add the model it looks like in the attached image. Moreover, the problem is that I cannot select any element, because I do not understand what is wrong. I know how to use C4D, but such a thing never happened to me. If I try to click on any part of the model with the pointer, nothing happens. I also searched for some online guides, but to no avail. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/148845/27671eb7-c235-4f00-8572-48be226379dc/image.png I think the problem is the format. Can you share the model in .obj, please? Also, I'm making some historical reconstructions based on some books I'm reading at this time, set shortly after WW1. These books tell of grenade launchers/smoke bombs for rifles. I had never heard of such a technology before in such an ancient time, so I searched on Google and found that even in Battlefield 1 there are rifle launchers. Again, I didn't know they were included in the game, so I would like to ask you if you extracted them and if in case you wanted to share them with me. You would do me a great favor.I saw the rifle launcher you shared on Steam, but unfortunately is from WW2. Take a look at this video: (Video) | Popflock.com
It seems something made the bones break. You cannot manipulate the model directly here, you need to use the bones. Also your model seems to have smoothing broken for some reason. I do not use C4D so I'm not too familiar with it, but I reckon there is a way to preserve smoothing on import. I'd rather not use obj. It's an outdated format that does not support bones or rigging. I can do smd if you can use that. I also ported the BF1 grenade launchers. They are included in the british and german rifle packs since the launcher model is halfway between a british and a german one. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132519/c58d5fc4-c3eb-4461-bd70-675c56fc6c20/Untitled.png For reference, this is what the model you downloaded should look like.
Unfortunately, I searched all afternoon, but I still can't edit the model. In any case, even if the .obj format does not matter the rigging and so on, it doesn't matter, I don't have to do animations, but only static images. So if you want, you can also upload it here and then delete it, or convert it to smd. I think Noesis can read that format, right? As for the grenade launchers, I hadn't seen them shared in those packs. Thank you very much, you are great.
No, nothing is missing. I looked at the icon picture for the bf1 gun and noticed I assembled the bolt head a bit too far back. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/455461666763571200/565563549426909185/vetterlivitalim1870.rar Heres a cleaned up version in smd and obj. The obj version has all moving parts separated and named, but does not contain bones.
I imagined that you were a connoisseur of weapons, since to assemble all these weapons correctly you need a certain amount of knowledge. Anyway, thanks again for your support, but I have one last question: do you also have the high resolution carbine version? The one shared by Dimka unfortunately is in low poly.
I did not bother with the carbine since the carbine was only for the 1870 version of the rifle, not the 87 variant. The result would be unhistorical so I left it.
Ok I understand. However, would it be possible to have it, even disassembled? I will arrange the pieces together by myself. Thanks in any case.
