Shaders looks bad
they're called shaders, but they do suck at least in that picture. everything looks like it's made of polished rubber.
I really hate how people go "THIS IS SHIT AND LOOKS LIKE SHIT, YOU'RE SHIT" without even the slightest indication of how to improve. Yes, it looks awful, but how could he fix it? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems the phong is too strong. Try turning down the boost or fresnel ranges.

In general, I find that cloth (with a proper specular in the bumpmap's alpha channel) looks pretty good with a phongexponent of 4, and a phongboost of like 0.03. [B]Really[/B] subtle phong. I'd also widen (lower) the helmet's exponent and tone down its boost as well.

The main issue is his gloss values aren't really correct, and it lacks tinted specular. iirc that alien metal would have a purplish highlight.

I do remember older versions of Crowbar being flakey if they would actually decompile or not though. Also if you're on any version of max higher than 2012 I don't know how wallworm will handle them. Judging how well it handles skinned meshes I'd say not well.
