Changing up the fresnelterms for non leather bits so the x and y are significantly lower would lead to an improvement. Also while I'm here; Making some horns for Joazzz' marines. Current sculpts. I just checked all materials, and found no normals that looked like that. Or the shadow thing you said. I think the normal mapping for the vest is just mirrored or damaged.

Anyone have experience with writing a file format converter? I've been working on a script to convert Houdini .geo to .obj or collada but it seems to only work on the simplest models.
