Should add one with M81 Woodland solely because it's such a classic pattern. Also will there be short sleeves?
Now that I figured out how to get Ninjaripper working on my laptop I decide to try and approximate the way Destiny shaders work, and failed. Model isn't even close to being set up correctly yet, cant get even close to the proper gold without painting the specular I think, but it is pretty cool to play around with. -edit, closer
Rusty and I updated on the US troop uniforms:
absolutely sexy
Like I say, it's a format issue. It ports everything but animations for Bioshock.
IIRC it's because the Bioshock games use the Havok animation format which umodel doesn't usually support, sometimes you can get around this by running umodel from the command line and telling it to extract everything.

Gildor himself has said it's just not possible for him to reverse the anim format. Bioshock doesn't use normal Havok, it uses a very weird hacky proto-Havok. That's also why the original game's physics run at 30fps. (Remaster runs at 60)

Daddy's Home.
Hey those are great.
[t]https://my.mixtape.moe/cxuyhz.jpg[/t] Their lights are properly emissive. I'm gonna increase the glow strength though. [editline]fuck[/editline] Dang, automerge. Anywhoo.. No colortool support, because the way these glows are set up it'd be too much of an asspain. I'm gonna have a bunch of skins for it though, since it's easy enough to swap skins for them. [editline]19th January 2017[/editline] [t]https://my.mixtape.moe/jkolas.jpg[/t] Their phongmasks look really great.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/cXTs9vM.jpg[/t]
So, I'm not going to lie. I actually like the original textures more. They have more details to them, and just an overall better aesthetic. The remaster textures, by comparison, look a lot more cartoony and muddy to me.
Remaster's textures look better overall when combined with proper normals and masks. When flat like that they look uninteresting.
You could just use the remaster's normals and specular with the vanilla diffuse. [editline]19th January 2017[/editline] I mean, they share the same UVs so why not.

[editline]19th January 2017[/editline] I mean, they share the same UVs so why not.
Similar uv but not identical uv. You would lose a handful of what you're trying to transfer. Hypothetically you could project them between the models to fill the gaps but that is an unusual amount of work for something as low key as an unreal 3 model.

[editline]19th January 2017[/editline] I mean, they share the same UVs so why not.
They don't share the same UV. Also the Remaster's meshes are remodelled (or at least, not down-polied like the 2007 ones are) so that would just be a kinda cheap way of doing it. I'm just gonna release both sets in the same pack (or alongside each other depending on filesize) for the sakes of authenticity. No George Lucassing here.

Why do they seem so chubby though?
What game are they from actually?
What game are they from actually?
For the bodies (and the French soldiers) Verdun
Most of all models from Verdun, Germans have BF1 parts, like boots, helmets and gasmask
Anybody know how to deal with seams like this one for example? I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to deal with them.
are there color differences in the basetexture? it looks a little bit like that's the case.

ive made a flesh atronach [editline]e[/editline] $collapsebones in the .qc removes all non-animating bones, right? if I use it with this model, can i spare myself from deleting the millions of unused bones?
The vertex weld trick didn't work, so it looks like the seam is on the texture itself. The problem is I don't have much if any experience with texture/UV editing, so I am not too sure how to approach this problem.
You can edit the UV pretty easily in 3ds Max by adding the "Unwrap UVW" modifier, then pressing the "Open UV Editor" button. I would suggest applying the texture to the model first, then add the modifier, and at the top-right of the UVW Editor window you can select what texture to wrap around the model. From there it's all about moving the vertices as you see fit, then closing the window and merge the "Unwrap UVW" modifier down.
