How did you get the armor glow looking so close too? simply pasting the emissive file does not make it look this good.
For Gears models, I like to take the emissive texture, place it over the diffuse in Photoshop (scaling and positioning over where the lights go as necessary), and then setting it to screen blending mode. Then I use the emissive as a $selfillummask. From there it's just using $selfillumtint to adjust the color and intensity.

I know there are Metal Gear related threads but didn't know if this would fit into any since they are pretty custom models. They are far from perfect but I like them where they are for now. Once I can learn up more on textures and all that good stuff I may be able to improve on these guys a bit. But here's the link for those interested. Set "Disable Self-Shadowing with vertex lighting" to 1. If that doesn't work, then set "Disable Vertex lighting" to 1.

Just a quick update to the AK74, added wooden furniture bodygroups, bakelite magazine bodygroups and a PSO1 Scope. I'll release it on FP along with the Grach once I am satisfied with there being enough attachments on it.
