I've run into a little issue with the battlefront models. Looks like they all use the same bone system so here is my issue. I doubt any of you use MAYA but have run into this same issue in 3DS MAX. When I import multiple characters that use the same bone structure into either of those software the bones automatically merge causing the models to get all distorted.

Do you have an updated dumper & sound extraction script at all?
unrelated but the texture work in this game is bonkers, they all look so nice and clean, and the details are perfect
although that could be because some of them are straight from ILM so :v:
None of them are straight from ILM.

He's not going to be making one as from his words "you would need to create a ZSTD dll wrapper for Python to work with the new compression they have with the game files and it would be a waste of time"
He's going to be making something even better soon so keep an eye out for it.

Fair enough. By the way, how did you get Frosty to work yesterday? I have tested BF2 out with v1.0.2 and 1.0.3 with no success, even changing the gamerprofile to Fifa17, which has worked with 1.0.3 in the past.

iirc the clone models were? even if they had direct reference materials, they still went through all the work to make low poly models and bake details. not discrediting their work at all

Clones weren't taken from ILM but the B1 droids and B2 was.
So for awhile no one is getting anything out of Battlefront 2,they updated the compression to ZSTD and Python just won't work with that compression and the old method for Frosty doesn't work like with the beta.
For the uninformed, what SWBF 2017 build is this? Beta is over, and final game will not be released until Nov 17.

The full game is out now if you have Origin Access. Plus the Deluxe Edition is out Nov 14.

Speaking of the battledroids. Do you or anyone have a link to those files? Can't find them anywhere. Also yeah the clone models seem in studio HPd, LPd by hand here and there but a lot of automation and then baked. Don't look as good outside of the engine as they do in. Not 100% familiar with how frostbite works but I assume the geo matters a lot more than normals or textures to it.
Anyone extract Yoda yet?

I love all of you. So MUCH
Anybody know where i can get the .pack file from clone wars adventures that has aquatic assault meshes?

ah, I see. Python isn't necessary, btw. This QuickBMS script does ZSTD decompression, plus LZ4 and ZLIB.

I can't seem to get it to work with any of the TOC files. It extracts the CAS files, but doesn't name or organize them... and I don't think it's physically possible to go through hundreds of thousands of random files. I'm probably doing something wrong.
Is there any way someone could post the providence model from the trial build? It's referred to as a separatist dreadnought ingame so I imagine it might be in the files as well. Thanks in advance!
Does the new way that the files have to be extracted make the sound and music files impossible to obtain?
Thanks in advance.

Either Luigi broke his script while trying to support FIFA, or it was never working. At least now its almost completely useless.

ah, you're right, it doesn't say support for SWBF in the comments, but I think the script has potential. It can read cas/cat files as well as toc/sb. Maybe this new flag FIFA17_WORKAROUND is breaking the script.

Thanks a Lot!!

Hi everyone! Just arrived to this thread and want to thank everyone who spend their time extracting all these models and sharing them!
I've been collecting them for a while and I'm having a lot of fun, specially assembling the bigger models like the ISD or the Venator and creating their materials... feels almost like building a physical model kit and brings me a lot of childhood memories :)
A couple of images of the last completed model, rendered with Arnold:
Please dear god you're going to release this.
Sure, I used Corra's extraction, but If you want the assembled model, there you go:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wIfS0sa2hXfq2tpJu-SErBC5cej50IzO/view?usp=sharing
Be aware that I have not cleaned all the destruction geometry, there are some visible bits on the control tower, but they looked cool to me so I left them.
Also I'm uploading only the assembled model because I use DDS textures for my materials, which I think not many people use. Arnold support DDS format and for me it's better because DDS includes the image's alpha on a separate channel, so I can shuffle it conveniently on the material editor and It saves me from the tedious process of having to convert the needed channels to separate images.
You can get the textures from the zip that Corra uploaded (http://www.mediafire.com/file/plupc4ztcbww62g/venatorclass_stardestroyer.rar) and use Noesis to convert them to your preferred format.
Hello there! I have a problem... The textures Corra posted is missing for me... All of them. I can't understand. All of the textures are black or almost black. What should I do to fix it?
