I've given this a try and not had much luck, even tried importing it into U3D where you can individually assign the mesh to the bones and it's still not working. Maybe I'm missing a step somewhere?

In blender you can individually assign the mesh to the bones, detach and attach it whenever you like. If you don't know how to do something in blender, just google it, the answer is always very simple.

I've been using Blender for quite some time, I don't think it's from lack of knowledge in this case. I know how to rig full meshes to armatures. When I export from BF2 however, the model scale is different than the bone structure from your .smd files, when I align it and add the meshes to the parent armature, it doesn't have weights. I've even tried to do the auto-apply based on the armature.

Dont know how you export, but this export is wrong then. It has wrong scale and no weights. Use my model tool to get proper model.

I get all rigged models using daemon's mesh extraction tool, though it should work the same on models extracted with something else. BF1 exports from Frosty work this same way.

I'm a film maker/3d artist working on a Star Wars short film involving Dagobah. Trying to get the models for the Dagobah swamp in TFU2.
Here's a quick glimpse at the models I've done. They're made in Blender, and if they'd be useful to someone, Yoda is already available, and I will make his hut available too.
Anyway, downloading TFUII file now and then diving in to extracting. Game modding/extracting is not my forte, but I figure I should give it a shot before begging for help.

It looks like TFU packs have characters only. Is it possible to extract the map models and textures from TFU2 or even BF2? Can anyone give me a quick link to the tools necessary to do that? Thanks and sorry for newb questions.
