Now I'm trying to figure out how they are aligned, is it a trial and error? or is there a setup that normally works? I am currently trying to align with armour_w.tga because it seems like the easiest to tell if it is aligned or not.

I seem to get closer with Y Z X and Z Y X, should the textures be kept on flat? all of the others look worse, but idk how much difference it makes when they are still incorrectly mapped :P (textures cover the left boot on anything else they do not cover the boot)

Is this o_nab_throne_01_mesh.MeshSet ? That one works fine for me in Blender when you use walrus_humanmale.ebx as skeleton in the folder. Did you try if the smd causes errors too?

Same errors for both. I've got the plug-ins for it too. I don't understand the issue and it's frustrating.

The uv is flipped on the y channel after import. If you mirror it in edit mode the textures will look proper :)

Sorry, i don't know the problem then as the mesh i mentioned works perfectly fine with both importers if you extracted it correctly. The error you are getting usually happens when a mesh is incorrectly extracted (either not supported yet, which doesn't apply to this model. or it has been extracted without finding the chunk)
Hey guys, Ia m new to this and I am trying to export the textures for the Venator using Noesis and all I get is a white image. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong

Thanks a ton! All the textures line up perfectly! all I have to do now is some tweaking with the specular, diffuse, bump, ect.

I started to kitbash the lowpoly Ghost I got from you guys (sorry I can't remember who) I'll upload the finished product when its complete. I'm not really going to accuracy. Really just a model that has more detail and such.

I love the ghost! You're highpoly version looks much closer to what we saw in Rogue One flying around in the space scenes too, which is awesome. Your approach to starting with a lowpoly version is actually exactly what the CG guys did for that movie too.

Like corycubbage said, just check if you have the newest version of noesis. I had the same issue :D Or use photoshop with the Intel DDS Plugin, then it works as well. You just import it and directly export it again. But in case you use the second method, don't click this mip-map thing. It's useless in this case:D

Scroll back to around page 15, I was asking many of the same questions. Check your UV channels. Also, the color for the hull needs to just come out of the red channel of the combine texture. Also on page 15 cSonora posted his workflow in the node editor which helped me a bunch.

Just figured part of this problem out . I have 3DMAX 2014 and if you import the model and attach the diffuse map ,go up to tools and look for "channel info" and you can copy and paste one channel to the other and hit update , and your good. Hope this helps.

OK I've been at the Venator for awhile now and I feel like I've got everything in pretty good shape except the normal maps for the hull. The hull panels are looking flat and the only elevation and depth changes I see are based on the change in the polygon, not the map. Does this look correct to you? It looks way to flat! This is a normal map problem, correct?
