can you try with this please?
its a browser thing with some mediafire links, chrome sometimes redirects to user accounts but Firefox works
hi again.. no, that did not work as well. it happens the same as before. i am using firefox with the latest updates.
I have logged out for this and the link works fine ... don't know what's wrong. Have you tried to clear chash and so on?
other can access the folder ... weired ...
The proper syntax should be using the folder url. That works when logged in.
okay now it works. i logged out of my mediafire account and logged in again and then it worked fine. thanks for the help chrisgfx. much appreciate
How do I use this normal map or transform it into the typical blue and purple normal map?
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132367/08ba17d5-89d1-41e1-912c-81cdded8d6cb/t_venatorstardestroyer_paneltile_01_breakup_01_rgbaout.png
Invert it (CTRL+I in Photoshop for example)
That is the wrong idea. Inverting it breaks the normals. It changes the direction. To make the texture blue you just add blu. People gonna argue if you should use the normalize formula to get a unit vector, but generally the numerical and vector error is neglectible and in most cases the calculated normals are normalized in engine.
invert is not a good idea when that channel has metallnes informations ... if not just fill it with white . It depends what renderer you are using most of them can use white for z channel (blue in RGB) dan you can use the z channel (blue) for metallnes.
Otherwise you can dupicate the blue channel in your photo app and fill z channel (blue) with white. The duplicated channel has now the metallness information. If your renderer isn't node based I suggest to save the duplicated blue channel as a seperated image.
Hope that makes sense
I recognise I'm probably being stupendously obtuse here, but I'm at the end of my tether so I'll just ask and hope someone is feeling charitable - I have downloaded one of the models from this thread(the TIE bomber), and all I would like to do is view that model with the provided textures so I can take lots of detail pictures as reference for building a physical model. I cannot figure out how to do this, and I can't find a tutorial on how to do it that doesn't amount to "learn how the whole 3DS Max program works"; can anyone suggest a "For Dummies" solution?
If you don't care about textures/color, windows 10 comes w/ a "mixed reality viewer" program (and perhaps you can download it for free for other OS, or find similar). That'll let you see and pan all around the mesh of the model
If you want color, you can download Frosty Editor, find the model in the hierarchy ("Composite" or "Rigid Mesh") and it'll usually show the correct textures applied + you can rotate the model etc.
TBH, I can tell you the easy way to use Blender to view your model - not at all a "learn all of 3DS" option, but, depends on how resistant you are ;D
Ah right, my bad. Sorry.
Thanks ! !

The (two) units from the Kinsano Leader DLC.
That means the flame cyclops as well as the flame warthog.
I am almost done with the vanilla UNSC units, but I'm currently waiting for Killercracker to fix som bugs in the script.
hello to everyone!
anyone can extract 3d models from this game?
Pinball FX3 Star Wars Pinball The Last Jedi
Get rid of that torrent link before you get yourself banned.
It's not illegal if you don't use the torrent. Lots of other hosts. It's just a data download (no illegal upload) at this point.
@tepman Will see what i can extract when it's here (slow serve). What exactly is it you want/expect to have? I can try to focus on that. Tomorrow perhaps. cheers.
Remind me please; is Ninja Ripper the only way to get models out of Zen Studios Pinball games?

Hi, I'm new to all of this but we need some help. Everyone I've asked says that this forum is THE place with the best and most helpful people.
We made the movie you see above using mostly elements from SW the Old Republic by just capturing in-game. Part 2 is in pre-production and shaping up to be bigger and better and we now need a usable model of the X-70B Phantom. I found a few links on this forum but nothing that was usable. I would greatly appreciate ($?) any help/advice to anyone that helps us get a working model with retractable ramp and landing gear that is compatible with Hitfilm Pro. We desperately need this ship for a few flybys and an articulated landing like the falcon landing on Bespin.
Thanks in advance for any help!

@BadHorse Definetely not. Textures are easy. Simple Blizzard style block interleave needed. Seen that, done that, twice. The models are labeled .max files tho, which i don't have. The format looks funny anyway. The reward models (i checked chooper real quick) are 1/3rd model and filled to the brim with shader code.
Nobody?
i would like to get my hands in the porg, chewbacca, Vulptex, Fathiers, The Caretakers, BB-9E, and everything new!
thanks in advance for take your time!
Sure. If you want to, you can try to ninja rip it? It may be easier. And faster perhaps. You gotta depuzzle the rip files ofc. Could be Your problem, not mine.
I'm still trying to figure out howto decode the extract. The diffuse are pretty much done (with some bits failing). But i dunno if i dun booboo or the normal maps are really protected in some form. This might take a lil longer. Now i need a break.
I was able to open the PXP container using QuickBMS, and from there it was pretty easy to figure out that the PXT files were textures and PXM files were meshes. Using a hex editor, I did also find reference to the MAX extension in the mesh files contents, but 3DS wouldn't open it, and the contents did not look the same as other MAX files created by 3DS. They almost look more like FBX, but with some other stuff. The PXT textures look kinda like DDS, but with different header info. Not familiar with the block interleave you mentioned -- gonna have to do some Googling.
The textures are basicly dds. tex_PinballFX3_pxt plugin for noesis. Currectly only spits out most diffuse textures. The normal maps are, well, screwed up in some kinda way. I only got the alpha values sorta corrected. The patterns are still a mess to make work.
Silly question, but has anyone released a SOLO-era Millennium Falcon?
Not that I know of but I'm sure it'll be in the EA Battlefront 2 season for the movie
Hello Folks.
I have been having some fair luck in extracting a few things, but other items are tough to find! As far as I know, I have the latest update to the SWBF2 game.
I am trying to find any of the Scenery for Endor ( trees, plants, buildings, ground cover ) etc. Has anyone pulled any assets from this section?
Thanks in advance
