Here is the medic to avoid misunderstandings:

Also just curious, do you know the difference between the synker files and the "normal" files?
Cptrex your not able to release any of these right?

https://cptrex.deviantart.com/art/Captain-Rex-V-636717250 (outfit only)
Or your imperial nvay commandos? :P
I had no idea TFU Wii had so many different characters.
@aspiring3dmod
as for the arc clone armor, i would suggest to wait until the new clone stuff comes out then i can make something like this with the new models. the second one is rex´s combat gear that he wears in the clone wars on onderon. i can release that one, but it is not realy high poly.
edit:
sorry i have missread your first request. the head in the first picture is from a jka mod. just switch to the jka mod page and search for the clone head. you can not miss it. and the navy commando isnt realy a good model. it was one of my first mesh mods i have ever maded. i tend to make a new one soon.
oh ok, so you are able to release the onderon rex mesh? :)

First, this is a picture from the Databank, not an actual in-game screenshot. Second, it's the Combat Medic model with different textures and with the medic gear removed. I couldn't find the model by itself in the game files but the textures for it do exist and are called "a102_stormtrooper_c". This leads me to believe it may be a subset of the Combat Medic model. So I went ahead and made the model using the medic as a base. I'm calling it the Imperial Officer Combat Armor:
Also just curious, do you know the difference between the synker files and the "normal" files?
I have no idea what the actual differences in the models are. Based on the filenames themselves I assume it has to do with animations in the game.
Yeah that does make more sense, he only appears in 1 scene so there wouldn't be a reason for the team to make 1 npc for one scene :P

Which scene does he appear in? If you can tell me I'll go back in the game and check it out.
Does anyone have the Resistance jetpack uploaded yet?

The Imperial Officer actually appears in every level with Imperials after the Nar Shadaa cantina level. However, they also appear prominently in a cut scene on the Dark Felucia level (the one that Starkiller mindtricks) and right when you enter the Imperial Facility on the Dark Raxus Prime level.

Thanks for the info! Upon further inspection it appears my assumptions were correct. During the game the Medics and Officers appear to be using the same model with slight variations of each other. Even more interesting is the Medic/Officer that Starkiller talks to at the shuttle during the cutscene is a further alteration from the other two seen in the game! His model uses the Medic textures but lacks the rest of the gear! This makes me wonder how many other models use this trick throughout the game! I also noticed the picture found in the Concept Art Database has a different helmet than those seen in the game. This is because they are concept art only, not the actual in-game models. It all makes sense now.
Imperial Officer in Combat Armor (game texture file "concept_065") = Imperial Medic (game texture file "concept_064")

i asked some months ago if somebody is willing to make a reskin of the dice clone trooper to look like the pandemic battlefront 2 jettrooper, anybody willing to do this reskin?
Warhammer_81, i both agree and disagree with you, i agree concerning the "1 mesh used for 2 characters", but i personally think its more likely the base model is ozzik sturns character model (due to the medics arms, pants and shoulders)

Why don t you do it by yourself, it s not hard, just take a 501st skin that has been released, put some green on the visor.
Hi guys, I got one question for you :)

What do those cryptic file names stand for and to which rendering aspect - can you say it that way? :D - do I have to apply them to, to get results similar to this:

I know, it's probably something I should know but I'm only starting to get to know to such software as Blender or Cinema4d :), so maybe you guys can help me out a bit there
Thx in Advance, JonnieLP :)
It s normal maps that has to be applied if you wanna see some relief.

http://hpics.li/e611f0f
Yes this is a normal map but not a good normal map, you have to convert it before using it (a normal map is purple/blue).
Why don t you do it by yourself, it s not hard, just take a 501st skin that has been released, put some green on the visor.
Actually its alot more than that, the entire skin needs to be painted metallic silver
Yes this is a normal map but not a good normal map, you have to convert it before using it (a normal map is purple/blue).
yes ... you need to invert the blue channel.
yes ... you need to invert the blue channel.
Yes you are true, i didn t knew it.
Would someone of you be so kind and do that for me? :) I simply can't get it done
And what is the MSR and Detail map for?
Thx in Advance

Easiest thing to do is to just invert it in Photoshop (CTRL+I) then resave it.
I don't have Photoshop yet:s: That's the problem
So use gimp or paint.net.
I got it :) But still, what is the MSR and Detail Texture for?
I got it :) But still, what is the MSR and Detail Texture for?
MSR textures are actually 3 different textures that you have to separate in Photoshop... Metallic, Specular, and Reflection.

What do I need to do in order to achieve that?
Btw, a small texture update of the SWBF 2015 Falcon I did:

Will there be a release for this? An obj or C4D? Trying to find models to be able to drop into element3d.
Will there be a release for this? An obj or C4D? Trying to find models to be able to drop into element3d.
The model can be found through one of the links from the first post I think. You only have to change the texture. That's it :)
That's what it looks like in Blender with LuxRender, used by a beginner ;)

It's a bit blurry, because I had to take a screenshot of the render. LuxRender is a bit weird. Sometimes you can export the scene for external rendering, sometimes not... And the normal map isn't really fitting. Maybe someone has a properly working one for me :)
Why luxrender when you have cycles :glare:
Why luxrender when you have cycles :glare:
Wanted to try it out, and it's a bit better than Cycles, even if it's just a bit :D
