Question.
How do I convert .lwo into a usable model?
I know its lightwave something something, but my usual converter I've used before is not working on these models. I can't import them into 3DS Max or Blender after converting.

I used http://www.greentoken.de/onlineconv/ to convert them so I can import into Sketchup, works for me.
Speaking of .lwo, is there a script to let Noesis view them? It'd save me time on converting into a sketchup friendly format
Ooh, that's what I usually use too, turns out DAE conversions aren't working and I should've used obj. Guess I forgot since the last time I used it. v:v:v
Hi,
here's an updated version for the Sinanju Stein,
One more day and it is good to go, only the back pack and weaponry is pending.

Hi!
here's the link of the Sinanju Stein well proportioned.

It's not textured yet, I will post some pics once I start texturing :)
Cheers!

Hi! you could also use the program Deep exploration that reads LWO (lightwave files) and you can export to OBJ. if you are interested in a particular model I can convert it for you
Cheers!
Sinanju Stein looks really cool!
I kept forgetting to mention, but the guy who made the G-3, Wing Gundam EW, and Wing Zero Custom, the super crazy detailed ones, is currently woking on a model of the PG Unicorn, he currently has the torso's framework and some armor completed. Probably impractical for game engine use, but hey, some people collect these models to do other stuff with them so just an fyi. Here's what he has. I'm curious if he'll include the cockpit. left an open cavity for one on the G-3, which really bugs me .-.
It looks like design for plastic production or maybe 3d printing?
It looks like design for plastic production or maybe 3d printing?
I don't think it will be 3d printed by him, he just makes very accurate 3d models of the kits for the most part. Can't wait to get my hands on it and see exactly how much detail he has put into it
unsure if this is double posting or not, but I managed to get the Shin Gundam Musou DLC files decrypted to .dat but I can't get those to a usable fornat since the tool for it just crashes. ripping is too crazy for me .-.
if anyone wants to finish this job, just say so and I'll post them, I'm itching to see what the WZC's model looks like
Would anyone know where I can find a 3D model for the Hi-Mock Gundam, I really don't want to go hunting through all the links that have been posted. Looking at using the base model for a few different modifications.

I don't even think there is a Mock model floating around this thread, though I think I saw one for MMD. I'll go hunting later when Maya stops murdering my computer on this export .-.
Thanks man, I've been itching to get EXVS models, the more the merrier
Also
Would anyone happen to have models for the Zaku I Sniper

Jesta

and the Type 61?

I know Sniper and Type 61 can be extracted from Gundam Battle Operation's models, but does anyone have those models cracked yet, and if so, y u no share.
That particular Type 61 can be downloaded right now, I just don't have 80 bucks to spend on it
I have Jesta from MSGO although it's low poly if you still want it.

I'm sure there was a type 61 in UCGO but it's not as good looking as the picture you posted

if the Jesta and Type 61 is close to par with the games we've been ripping, it'll be fine, if not I'll still take them, I love the Jesta and Type 61.
does anybody knows how to rip the 3d models from MSGO?
it would be really great.
ok, here is Jesta from MSGO:

I'll do type 61 another time.

Thanks Man!!
another one for the collection!! :)
In regards to the Jesta, is that as high poly as MSGO gets ingame? I'd rather not go through vpn trouble to play MSGO, besides my rig would probably die in a 50v50. But yeah, I'm gonna see what I can do to high poly this Jesta up, might not be able to do the entire MS, but I'm sure I can do the gun and related accessories. I'll probably have some work posted within the next few days if I'm not being a lazy bum like usual .-.
Unicron any luck with finding that MMD Hi-Mock?

hahahahah! if you achieve something I'd like to have the result ;)
Unicron any luck with finding that MMD Hi-Mock?
I have found it, but I haven't bothered to look at it yet, I'm lazy.
I also found a Strike Dagger for MMD too. I'll be honest, the models I find depend on my preference for the suit, and the hoops I have to go through to obtain said models, and if it even exists in MMD or not.
hahahahah! if you achieve something I'd like to have the result ;)
Don't worry, I share my models one way or another.
If you can link where you found it I can convert it no problem

I'll upload the folder shortly.

Here's what I've done to MSGO Jesta's Gun so far. I do mesh modifications like extruding and stuff and redraw parts completely when I have to
edit: https://www.mediafire.com/?mfr23kli0ic4lqk the Mock or Hi Mock, is there a difference?
Edit again: Finished Jesta's gun
Now to see what I can do for the Jesta itself
that looks awsome and yes MSGO uses low poly models
that looks awsome and yes MSGO uses low poly models
Oh well, it does make sense due to the 50v50 matches, can't quite do that with models on par to Crossfire since not everyone can afford supercomputers. Weapons are simple and not as crazy as the MS themselves, so naturally I'd work on that first. I'm also currently converting Heavyarms Custom into its Heavyarms version based on the MG, all I really have left is the army knife and beam saber arm parts, no single gatling though, I have not the skills to model the gun, or the patience for that ammo belt.
Good job man. And improving some meshes is just a pain the ass. If you are not good at modelling you may end up with an unnecessary high poly model only to get more rounded edges

high poly models dn't really bother me, I just go for the best looking ones I can find. If I can't find it, I'll see if I can fix a weak looking one. Definitely not my first time improving a model either, but the first time was mostly mix and match parts(with a couple made myself) to make it more accurate to the now inaccurate source material, but thats irrelevant to this thread, only related to the giant robot aspect.

your are right let's stick to the post
[editline]9th October 2015[/editline]
well,
here's a first look for the texturing process on the Sinanju Stein I've been working lately.

subir foto
Only the weapons and label details on the Jetpack are pending.
Rigging would be next, so for this weekend it should be finished.
Looking for references I found a custom Sinanju Stein that stole my heart, So probably before moving on to another model I will re model and re texture the current Sinanju to achieve this Custom design.

subir fotos a internet
So, for the weekend at least I will be able to upload something.
Cheers!
