That's what I meant. Creatures inc have been involved with the production of the games for as long as they've been around bit with XY they were at the least the lead staff on pokemon models and animation.

I'm now thoroughly confused as to what the point of what you were trying to say was. If they're not the same models, how is that relevant?
Yes they probably are the same models with a different texture map
Maybe Pokedex 3D is higher res since all the pokemon in XY use 256px maps but I wouldn't imagine it'd be a worthwhile quality boost when you could recreate them with inkscape & mental ray at much higher resolutions.

Well there's no real way to know for certain until we can get our hands on them.
The models from Colo/XD are atrocious, and all gen 1/2 pokemon from those games are just reused from Stadium 2.
Why on earth would you want those?
Have you SEEN Gen 1-3 Golbat?
Have you SEEN Gen 1-3 Golbat?
Literally only sprite that I can think of that you mean is solely in Red and Blue(and only american red).

Edit: Just to clarify, the stadium model DOES indeed have this quirk for some reason.

Um, I was referring to all the silly movements the model makes. The XY one may not be able to close its mouth, or wrap its wings around itself.

Excuse the texture glitching.
You said Gen 1-3, not specifically Stadium/2/Colosseum/XD that time.
I don't know about the mouth, but you should be able to rig the wings to be able to do that. Not sure if they'd reach all the way though...
Heh, could you imagine trying that with a crobat using all 4 wings though?

I'm pretty sure that Gen 1-3 includes the 3D games as they were released during that generation.

The issue was the wording was too general, I don't know why I have to explain that...

But this thread is obviously for 3D models and not flat sprites...
Bleh, nevermind, I'm just confusing myself at this point.
Golbat does that animation in Pokedex 3D. It just keeps flapping in XY because they reuse animations for Pokemon that can participate in a Sky Battle and generally updated a lot of Pokemon's weirder animation loops (ex. Blaziken's old kung-fu stance)
Really amazing packs. I look forward to trying them out. Would it maybe be possible for Murkrow to be added? I'd really appreciate it.
Or else could someone please link me to a separate download for Murkrow?
Probably because you were looking at the wrong games....

I was looking for Pokepark's version, but this will do. I didn't even really consider Brawl. Thanks.

Is it both genders, or whatever's in PokéPark?
Is it both genders, or whatever's in PokéPark?
It appears to be the male, just like it is with most other Pokémon with gender-differences.

Many thanks! I can't wait.

I'm now curious, for the pokemon in both games, are the models the same?
I'm now curious, for the pokemon in both games, are the models the same?
Pikachu is the only Pokémon with a different model, but there's like 7 or 8 that have added "spiral-eyes" textures, but have no other differences.
Actually I should have said 3 games, because there's 2 pokepark games...

Really? Even Lucario, Charizard and Squirtle?

Scary. The ragdoll that's in the pack looks like it came out of PokePark.
Oh well.

I guess I'm either blind and/or stupid.

We already established that Brawl and Pokepark use the same models for the most part. It's not your fault.
Actually I should have said 3 games, because there's 2 pokepark games...
Really? Even Lucario, Charizard and Squirtle?
Those three don't have any differences between their models in PokéPark 1 and 2. Their Brawl models are completely different.
Scary. The ragdoll that's in the pack looks like it came out of PokePark.
Oh well.
It's mainly the lack of shading that makes it stand out a bit from the PokéPark models, but it still looks fine in comparison.
We already established that Brawl and Pokepark use the same models for the most part. It's not your fault.
Actually, that's not true. Brawl's Pokémon Stadium/Spear Pillar/PokéBall Pokémon models are pretty much the same as, if not close to their Battle Revolution models. Nothing from Brawl resembles PokéPark's models at all.
Hm, seems there was a bit of crossed wires here as I was referring to brawl and pokepark when I said "both games".
It's just a simple misunderstanding is all.
I've thought of an idea to get models from 3DS games. Although I highly doubt they'll work (They may not work at all). It's through model ripping through an emulator. I'm pretty sure there are 3D model rippers which are not 3D Ripper DX (it requires DirectX 9). (I'm not even sure if we're allowed to talk about emulations here.)
