I swear to god if you end up ripping all the new megas from the ORAS demo (tbh I don't know how much they will actually take the time to delete from the demo's data since the pokemon models aren't that large, though I'm sure they're aware that every single time since like the gba that they've released a game with unannounced pokemon it's been leaked) at least mine has geometry for the face
Now that's more like it! Now I need to figure out how to automate the script, and import the rigging correctly, and then I can begin.
How do you take the vines off?
Probably just scale the beginning of the bone chain to 0%
I swear to god if you end up ripping all the new megas from the ORAS demo
I don't think I'll be able to right away -- newer games have been using a different encryption, so the method used won't work until people can get it working on firmware 7.0+ 3DS systems.
Hey RTB once you figure out how to automate the script would it be possible to get the raw models for the trainers?
Hey RTB once you figure out how to automate the script would it be possible to get the raw models for the trainers?
It should be. I'll be testing it out on a crapload of the game's models (especially the ones that don't export using BCH2OBJ like Moltres and Mega Gengar), making sure everything works alright. I've got automatic material importing and partial automation on that script now, but this second half's confusing the heck out of me.
uh, shouldn't the "New" megas be in X and Y too? Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are the same generation as X and Y, Plus Mega Blaziken is already (Somewhat) accessible.

The only "new" Mega forms in X/Y that aren't normally available are Mega Latios/Latias. None of the ones being added to OR/AS are in the files for X/Y. Not even Mega Metagross or Mega Diancie are there. (EDIT: Here's the list that was posted of all models, in order they are in the game's file system.)

It doesn't have a pattern listed ._.

ok this is odd, why are the other G3 Starter Megas missing? you don't suppose Nintendo did things this way to prevent leaks, do you?
ok this is odd, why are the other G3 Starter Megas missing? you don't suppose Nintendo did things this way to prevent leaks, do you?
They kept Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Mega Latios, and Mega Latias in... maybe the other starter megas just hadn't been planned yet?
They kept Hoopa, Volcanion, Mega Latios, and Mega Latias in... maybe the other starter megas just hadn't been planned yet?
As I said, I'm sure they'll add them into X/Y in an upcoming update. They can't simply limit X and Y users to just trading/battling with each other, and not allow interaction to those with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Because they weren't finished/modelled/designed depending on what point the designers started working on ORAS full-time

Anyway, on topic, is it possible to get the 3D models from Cities and towns??
I feel like I'm looking at the model list for Gran Turismo 2. And that's just the pokemon models.
Yeah so i'm kinda a dick for not mentioning this earlier but i'm actually also in the middle of rebuilding Zangoose's mesh for another game (hint: it doesn't contain the dog from Duck Hunt) While it's lower-poly to meet the standards of the Wii (though better than the previous one was before being subdivided) it has better edgeflow and rigging all around, along with modeled eyes and a mouth that can be animated with morph targets, if you feel that would be better than waiting for the real XY one.

Now, on topic again, is it possible to get 3D Models from the cities and the towns in the game?
A Brawl port isn't exactly the same thing as a Gmod port...unless you're saying you can port it to Gmod as well?
probably. Just saying it's arguably better than what i made before if you prefer facial animations to using textures for blinks/mouths. (i can also vertex morph the claws clenching but i have no idea if gmod would let you do that in source)
Now, on topic again, is it possible to get 3D Models from the cities and the towns in the game?
Probably, if it's the same format as the other models it should be importable.
Probably, if it's the same format as the other models it should be importable.
Great! I guess we'll finally see Lumiose City in other games too. Speaking of which, since the city is split in parts, are they separate files again, or in are they in the same model?
I'll have to let you know when I locate those.
OK Then. Good luck!

Eh, a little bit off-topic, you said around at 600 cars. Are license test exclusive/beta/hidden/cut cars counted? Because I'm pretty sure that they're not, otherwise it would be a bigger number.

I'm honestly not sure where to find a list with numbers that would include the ones hidden in the game data though... Edit: I just noticed they had the numbers by nation and I can confirm the number is exactly 600(It says it includes the "Lost Hondas"). Edit2: It looks like it includes the gamesharked ones and codes to obtain them.

There's a whole forum for this series anyway.
