I remember seeing somewhere on the internet a list with all the car model names, including the hidden ones (such as the CLK DTM etc.) Anyway, this is a Pokemon model discussion, not a Gran Turismo one. There's a whole forum for this series anyway.
I wouldn't have said anything further on the matter if you didn't ask, but for clarity's sake, you should probably look at my edits.

Thank you for answering my question :D But interestingly, I went to count the car files in the game's data, and it says there are 4.446 files in the folder. Now, I don't know if some of them are duplicate cars or multiple variants, but I'm sure nobody would sit down and start viewing every single model in Zmodeller, because that would take ages. But again, thank you for answering my question :D Wow, we managed to go off topic in a Pokemon thread XD

What's important is how much the derailment impedes getting back on track, which is definitely nothing of concern in this particular case...

Script is nearing completion now. All of the models I've tried import almost perfectly with no manual input anymore, including the ones that won't work with BCH2OBJ. Problem is... It seems to be ignoring certain polygon groups. I need to figure out how fix that first. And the rigging, too. (EDIT: Fixed! Rigging is the last thing I need to fix now!)
The lighting looks different to what's used in XY and the eyes are very pixelated.
It's doesn't have the games' shader applied and the textures are low res and unfiltered
Is there anyone who could send me xy's gamefiles? I need them and I don't have a 3ds that can decrypt it
Just proving that my script is working. Please don't port this one to Garry's Mod, I plan on doing so to start off my 6th Generation pack. Plus you've got the envmaps to worry about, have fun getting those to look correct in the Source Engine with its lack of spheremap support.
I forgot how high they pushed the tri count on some of them I wonder what happens if you triple battle with six volcanion (then somehow hack the game to force permanent stereo 3D)
I forgot how high they pushed the tri count on some of them I wonder what happens if you triple battle with six volcanion (then somehow hack the game to force permanent stereo 3D)
Volcanion actually has slightly less polygons than Diancie does (10,198 as opposed to 10,360). :v: Mega Ampharos technically has the highest polygon count out of the models I've looked at so far (11,651), unless you count bodygroups in that case it would be the Heart Furfrou (12,906). Of course, I haven't checked everything yet. (QUICK EDIT: Oh wait, forgot that Mega Ampharos had more polygons than Xerneas.) (EDIT 2: Yeah, hiding all but one eye bodygroup on that Furfrou, it has 12,210 polygons. Still the most!)
Now I want to see how badly a 3 vs. 3 battle will lag with 6 Heart Furfrou.
Now I want to see how badly a 3 vs. 3 battle will lag with 6 Heart Furfrou.
Still faster than my laptop XD
Meloetta has just been ported and Diancie, too. ^^ BTW, can you upgrade the Kirlia ragdoll (bones for it's hair and skirt)?
Is there anyone who could send me xy's gamefiles? I need them and I don't have a 3ds that can decrypt it
Better you ask that in GBAtemp.
Better you ask that in GBAtemp.
I thought they'd prefer if you didn't there?
I thought they'd prefer if you didn't there?
If he means a rom, then yea, they don't allow that kind of stuff.
I'm a bit late on this, but great job you guys for getting the X & Y models ripped! Keep up the good work!
Nice job on the rips. It's kind of surprising how far this has gotten already, considering there's not that much knowledge on the 3DS's innards and the games are barely a year old. OOC, are you gonna release the script once it's completed or are you gonna keep it private? On a semi-related regard, are you gonna look into the trainer customization thing eventually?

Once I fix those two problems, then I should be able to release the script to the public (since it'll allow at least every Pokémon's model to be ripped without problems). And yeah, I will, but there's a separate problem stopping me from doing so where the polygon data inexplicably changes in the middle of a model, I'll need to figure out what causes that and how to fix it later.
I can't get GMod to play with my downloads. IS anyone else having this problem?
I can't get GMod to play with my downloads. IS anyone else having this problem?
Try verifying the cache, even if it says that all files are verified, it might fix the problem. Worked for me when my GMod started doing that. Anyway, I have one word right now -- tomorrow. Be there, and be square. Oh, wait, that's not how the saying goes...
verifying might not work this time as it might be a Full Workshop problem
yeah a friend of mine was having problems with all of her workshop items including the ones for l4d2 so it may just be that. Though I haven't had any problems with the sfm version of the workshop as of current.
You're best off asking on the gmod help and support board...
I already fixed it. Where's the new stuff?
Where's the new stuff?
In places unreachable by mere humans.
Where's the new stuff?
In about an hour from now, gotta get one more thing done.
Almost there...
Almost there...
My friend's gonna be a bit late, and I promised him I'd release my pack at the same time as him, so please wait a little bit longer. I hate having to make people wait, but I hate breaking promises more than that. Sorry.
