I doubt B2/W2 would get remakes, especially considering they took the place of the usual third version. Odds are the remakes would be mashups of B/W and B2/W2, adding stuff from B2/W2 while still using the story from B/W.
As for names, it would probably be something that ties into some sort of themes related to the generation in all of pokemon's merchandising, remember that Delta Species was a card game expansion connected to Gen 3, so I guess there was already some manner of connection to greek letters (plus Mega Rayquaza gets [i]delta[/i] stream). otherwise, the use of them doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, as Alpha and Omega seem like something that would apply better to Gen 6 (Gen 3's legendary trio was more about the Omega than the Alpha after all)...
Then again, there WAS Heart Gold and Soul Silver, which was based simply on a metaphor or two ("Heart of gold, soul of silver."), and the phrase "Diamonds are forever." is probably more well known, but doesn't really match up with pearls, as far as I know.

I too enjoy theorycrafting sequels to games years down the line and made on the other side of the world.

Yeah atm the eyes are slightly detached from the rest of the face as i was using three layers for the eyeball, catchlight and eyelid textures so it's lot more noticable with brown next to brown. The viewport shadows might also be a bit weird around the nose as it intesects a bit funny with the face.

There's a Pokemon thread in GDD already, and this thread's getting really cluttered up with pages upon pages of off-topic talk which makes it really hard to track progress.
No offense, but if RTB's gonna idle, let him do so. Pushing the thread to the top of the page when there's near-zero actual activity seems pointless.
I have too many other things taking priority right now. I'm not done with porting Pokémon models (I've got the next few planned for November-ish already) and probably won't be for a long while.
Um, not sure if they were requested already or already planned but since they're on the models resource I wonder if it'd be possible to get the Nido family sometime?
Also, maybe May/Anna's overworld model? I know there's an in-battle model ripped too but I just find the overworld's proportions to be cuter.
And if not, would they be particularly hard to port? I wouldn't mind putting in some work for them if that's more convenient.
