You don't have to continuously bump the thread, you know. If you are really that curious, shoot people a PM or something.
So? anything new? (i'm not impatient ok? I'm just curious!)
I'm fairly certain RTB would've reported in if there was something worth reporting at this point.
On a semi-related regard, May's sense of scale compared to other humanoid models seems kind of iffy at best:

I feel like the rightmost iteration ($scale 0.54) is in some respect more "realistic" than the current scale. May being only slightly shorter than the Engineer (who is already extremely tall when compared to other Source characters) seems excessive.
You must not know much about how model scaling works between model makers.

It doesn't (btw regular sized Metal Gear REX is WAY bigger than regular size Ultraman and the Dino Megazord).
Sometimes it's hard to make things a consistent size, Prawn's Shauna model also looked too small if scaled at the same percentage as I've done for my other Pokémon models (42.5% from the original, unmodified size), and I made May and Brendan match the same scale as the currently-ported Shauna.
However, I now know that Archie's 1.75m tall from the concept art, so that should actually be a better size reference than just doing rough estimates (considering the trainers are all relative sizes compared to each other). :x
Well, SFM has a perfectly functional scale controller built into it already, and if someone needs the model in a different size in Gmod they'll probably just recompile it themselves, so I guess it doesn't really matter v:v:v
It's great to see this whole thing slowly come together though, I gotta say. With the advent of Gateway/kernel exploit support on 9.2.0-20 just around the corner, I can see the 3DS ripping scene picking up the pace.
I'll just stop asking for anything from now on...
I've played around with Brendan and May, they're great!

And that snowman is massive!
Yay so my laptop crashes on gmod and does SFM renders horribly ; v ;
And I gotta get a new hard drive for my PC for Christmas if anyone will give me money since I'm turning 18 right after! Yay!
Anyway, I'm still bored and free so if anyone wants a custom skin made for a model, I can do that. I'm also able to do voices for Pokémon (even most high pitch voices without editing), some Sonic and Mario characters' voices, as well as various others. I can also do some animations for SFM videos (but I can't render a video too well on the laptop myself) that I can send to others to use. On top of that, I can even make custom sound effects, and effects in PsE. Soon I'll also be able to help out with music, video effects, model editing (minor tweaks), and hopefully even model porting. Anyway, I'm bored so give me something to do for free :0
I can do that. I'm also able to do voices for Pokémon (even most high pitch voices without editing)
Can you actually talk in those voices(aside from meowth of course), or can you just do the "saying their own species' name" thing?
Mmmmmmboth (except I can't do ALL accents.) Mostly just Southern, Californian (natural), and a light northern accent. I can also do a fake as that sableye card New Yorker accent. Lol
Heya folks. Can I echo some earlier sentiment to finally port Roserade into GMod? One of my favorites, and it's been waiting a while to be ported.
Also, can I request Mega-Lopunny from OR/AS? Another of my favorites, and I'm anxiously awaiting that custom model from earlier but the OR/AS model would be more accurate.
Heya folks. Can I echo some earlier sentiment to finally port Roserade into GMod? One of my favorites, and it's been waiting a while to be ported.
Yep, definitely backing this. Might take a little while though since people are still busy, IIRC.
Why not just use the voices from PokéPark or the Animé?
Why not just use the voices from PokéPark or the Animé?
Well if you wanted them to actually talk other than Meowth or the ones with telepathy, that'd be a problem...

i actually went ahead and started rebuilding a lot of it to match the real one, lol (i have the static mesh but not the associated joints)
surprisingly i got quite a bit of stuff mostly correct except it's far too tall, i misinterpreted the shapes of its knees completely and the game model has fixed eyes like the original form (though this doesn't really match the official art, so i don't care)
Why not just use the voices from PokéPark or the Animé?
Well, there's many reasons. Quality, range of different options in mood, personality, sound. There's also talking pokemon.
More Pokemon NPCs? I'd like to see some.
Do the people who made the NPCs even read this thread?
Another couple models I'd like to see ported are Mega-Blaziken and Mega-Gardevoir. Hopefully, I'm not over-stepping my bounds by asking for those as well as the Roserade and Mega-Lopunny.
I'm in love with the model packs!
Christmas is coming, people are out going to get presents for those that they care about.
Who's that GameCube for...

Also you don't need Left 4 Dead.
It's great to see the chibi/overworld versions of Brendan and May included! Kinda wish I knew more about the whole process, I'd be happy to help get more of the overworld models in.
A friend of mine managed to port a MMD of Kalos XY Ash

Still some kinks need to be worked out, though such as body groups and sizes and stuff
That's pretty cool.
Anyway, Merry Christmas guys! Once agian i wish you all a good day and some good gifts.

This is gonna be a long night with all that hype for my Wii U...
Did I ever mention I love these models?
[t]http://puu.sh/eair5/b1535129c3.png[/t]
... I also love an overabundance of effects, apparently.
Didn't expect to find more pokemon in Lucian's pack
Mewtwo's here!
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/dhSDhom.jpg[/thumb]
I also played around with some of the Mega evolutions
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/CMdliPO.jpg[/thumb]
Good job Lucian, that's some great stuff, though i need to mention that i can open Mewtwo's mouth but not the others

Yeah, Mewtwo. I did mention to Lucian that there was something going on with it as well, particularly its eyes.
Granted, lamps don't cast a shadow of Mewtwo apart from what I believe are the eye texture areas...

But I do notice that the eyes and pupils seem to act...translucent? When lamps are used, you can look through the areas of the eyes and nose at certain angles.

I had even gotten results where lamp lighting from behind could fully cut out its eyes in the silhouette.

More recently I noticed something else about it. When Skin 7 is enabled for the eyes, it shows some of the default Skin 1 texture in the eye white area, underneath where the pupil is set.

I'm not entirely certain what could cause this, whether it's the mixture of bodygroups and skins in a weird way, some unacknowledged texture properties or a repetition of one elsewhere in the file...maybe some mixture of these.
I mean, apart from the eye texture issues the model is fantastic.
I'll talk to Lucian about that, see if I can help fix those problems for his next update.
