Well, i hope that pay for mods thing won't be for Gmod because as much as i wouldn't want to, i'll quit if it happens.
I'm pretty sure that they'll be enforcing the rules quite a bit stricter on that though, which means copyrighted and trademarked stuff like game rips won't be eligible for selling.
I hope you're right, cuz i wonna keep on using RTB's and everyone else's great stuff here.
I'll just make a statement here on behalf of RTB and myself. Even if GMod/SFM get the option to monetize stuff, we won't be doing it. Maybe, just maybe if there's an option to choose to donate something if you want we'll use that, but it'll never be behind a paywall.
Besides, I always link to my patreon in my workshop addons anyway, it's completely optional and they don't take 75% of the earnings.

Just joined a few days ago... actually haven't introduced myself...
I don't think SFM can get payed mods... due to legalities of ports.
Gmod however can probably get gamemodes paywalled.

luckily i have never made anything worth downloading otherwise i'd be all about making mad stacks of cash wherever possible

Even Pokemons have had enough of Stalker...

It felt good. ^_^
I'm hoping that's Psystrike, Dark Void, and Shadow Ball combined. Sounds like a blast!

You could say that.
Pleb question, can I use these in stuff like 3DSMax and not just SFM?

If you get the models off models resource, probably. These work in gmod too btw, I mean the links are for gmod's workshop, not SFM's.
It's Mothers day so... Why not?

I love my mom. :3
It's not mother's day until later here.
@SevenBillion: Crossposting what I posted over at The VG Resource:
Make "Waist" the root bone in the QC, not "Hips". That's why it's stretching like that -- you essentially made the model have two separate roots by doing so. Also you have waaaaaaay too many physics joints in the model, you can only have a maximum of 32 and you've got 55. You'll need to remove the fingers, nose and all of the "feelers" from the limitations to bring it down to 28, but you'll need to make a physics model to go with that (NEVER use the original model as a physics model, you'll encounter dozens of problems by doing so, you'll want to build something akin to this with segmented joints instead for the physics).
I've been neglecting to check Facepunch recently. I've just been really busy, otherwise I would've answered you earlier.
I mean, I know this is unrelated, but thanks RTB for letting us see a little something to come!

Where'd you get that from? It's not on his Steam screenshots or his and Apoc's group
twitter
Ooooh that's from Smash Bros, that's why....
All those things aside, has there been any progress on trainer customization .BCHs?
I'd love to know that same thing. Especially since I'll be taking some modelling classes soon so I can make my dream trainer.
May Mr. Iwata rest in peace, he created my red clothed, italien hero and so much more for all of us... Thanks Iwata...

Miyamoto created Mario...why do people keep misattributing things to Iwata?!
Anyway

RIP Iwata.
Well i mean, he took part in his creation. :/
Save rigging for last. the rigging will always get messed up when you edit the model because new vertices are taken into account.
Ah in that case, make a copy of the model for rigging reference, and save the re-rigging for last.
Three copies of the mesh in the same scene.
Each face on a mesh can be assigned a Material ID number, which allows you to place several materials (and therefore, textures) on the model in conjunction with a Multi/Sub-Object Material.
If you select a face you'll notice the Material ID number in the 'Polygon Properties' tab in the sidebar. Most Pokemon have one or two materials for their body, one for the eye textures (plus an additional one if they have seprate irises) and one for the mouth textures.
