Got some bad news for everyone.
Bad news is that Sun and Moon are using an entirely different model format, so it will take RTB some time to make a new importing script for Sun and Moon.

And yes, I know I've been slacking when it comes to porting Pokémon models and helping others with doing so. I'm very sorry about that. I'll make up for that before the end of the year, but I'll at least be updating the first post with everything I've been neglecting add later today.
(EDIT: The first post's finally been brought up-to-date. I'll be sure to not be so lazy in the future.)

Is it strange that I really like to do this? I make this happen by selecting a Pokémon and then select another Pokémon's animations.
My god, is that Longchu reincarnate?
Not by a long shot...

Now I wonder what Alolan Exeggutor's rig would do to it.
Now I wonder what Alolan Exeggutor's rig would do to it.
I don't have any rigs from 3DS games and only have the ones from the PokéPark series.
I don't have any rigs from 3DS games and only have the ones from the PokéPark series.
That was a hypothetical.
Wow, that's not Longchu. That's a monster.
Anyhow, just curious, what program are using to this kind of stuff?
You need the PokéPark Wii/Wonder's Beyond models and brresviewer.
I'm just wondering... how do XYORAS models appear in their model viewer? Do you have to rig everything up yourself or is it like .Brres? Also, what's the 3DS model file type called?
I don't know much about 3DS Ripping. You would have to consult RTB or the VG Resource for that.
Regardless, I will tell you what I know. The Pokemon XYORAS games uses the .bch file format, which stores the models for the games. Pokemon SuMo uses a different file format as stated earlier. Currently, SuMo can only be imported manually as there isn't any import script made for SuMo at the moment. However, it will only be matter of time that SuMo models will get ripped as progress has been very speedy.
The models can be viewed using a tool called Ohana 3DS. As for the rigging, you don't need to worry about that at all. The models are already rigged. All you need to do is the load the models and textures in Ohana 3DS and you are good to go!. By the way, you can get the all Gen 1 - 6 Pokemon models and textures from RTB's mediafire page.
Hope this explains enough for you!
Do animations play? That's the way I make the models all mangled.
The Pokemon XYORAS games uses the .bch file format.
That's unfortunate and here I thought Nintendo tried to keep family friendly. :P

No pictures or anything yet, but I thought I'd have something up in time for Sun/Moon's release. This is a currently-SFM-only pack of twelve different Pokémon (Rowlet, Dartrix, Decidueye, Litten, Torracat, Incineroar, Popplio, Brionne, Primarina, Mimikyu, Stufful and Bewear). Haven't tested 'em out yet but hopefully they should be alright (if not I'll be kicking myself later). There'll probably be some oddities with Torracat and Incineroar's firey collar and belt (respectively) on certain maps/lighting conditions because the Source Engine is stupid sometimes, so I'll probably have to re-do those later. Blergh.
I'll have a proper post for 'em when I get them ported over to Garry's Mod.
Also, can you upload the files other than mediafire? I sometimes gets annoying redirects there even with noscript on.
Alright, replaced the link with one on Mega.nz instead. Don't blame ya, though, I've noticed too that Mediafire's becoming incredibly crappy recently...

Is there a program you can open the models with, like the brresveiwer one?
Didn't I just said you could use Ohana3DS like a few posts ago?
Well, now that you brought that up again. Ohana3DS just got updated recently. So, it can now play animations. You can get it here.
Oh and you can also get the models, textures, and the animations files here.
Sweet! BTW, is there a way to make sure certain textures load when you open a Pokémon file?
I am not too sure what you meant by that, can you elaborate?
Nm.
BTW, anyone know how to give the lower poly model textures?
Messed with another Pokémon:
Mega Charizard X keeps on losing it's teeth and claws
That's because certain polygon groups with single-bind rigging like that don't seem to apply correctly. I'll have to take a look at the code later and see how I'd go about integrating that fix. Unless gdkchan gets to it first, which is more likely.
BTW, anyone know how to give the lower poly model textures?
You don't. They're the shadow models, and are not designed with textures in mind.
They made entire models just to act as shadows? ._.
Hey guys im sorry for this question im just really new to all of this. I have the pokemon packs all downloaded but I cant figure out how to open the models in a program like Maya or Max. The file types are all .dx90. Am I missing a conversion step? I appreciate any help you could give. Thanks!
Wouldn't it be easier just to get the obj files from https://www.models-resource.com/3ds/ and work from there?
Acerola' catface tho.
When will SM trainers be uploaded to mess around with in Mega?
Wouldn't it be easier just to get the obj files from https://www.models-resource.com/3ds/ and work from there?
That makes it easier! :) Thanks!
theres a weird issue on her skirt though
I've seen that issue lots of times before with double-sided polygons, looks like it's because of a backfacing issue. Select all of the underside polygons and put them on a second smoothing group, and it should be fixed.
When will SM trainers be uploaded to mess around with in Mega?
The overworld and battle models are up in the same place as the Pokémon models. I'll add the player models there sometime later today.
(EDIT: Player models are now up too.)
The overworld and battle models are up in the same place as the Pokémon models.(EDIT: Player models are now up too.)
Guessing you mean this (for anyone who didn't know)? mega:///#F!Tx4ziKbL!Fy4-wIjBjHx9EVw59dZCFg
It says I'm over quota and it won't let me download the trainer files individually. :/
Can't you upload JUST the SM Trainer models?!
There was a bug where it didn't let me download trainer stuff separately and I reached the download limit.

I don't like Mega. I tried uploading there once but there was some kind of processes I didn't want to bother trying to figure out so I just went to Mediafire instead.
Oh sure, downloading from there is usually a simple matter of point and click but uploading? Not so much...
Any chances of porting any of the Battle Tree Trainers such as Wally or Cynthia? Oh yeah and also Zygarde's new forms (10% and Complete formes)
And now, some actual content.
What's that supposed to mean?!

Huh? I managed to find Red...
