For some reason I can't get the hands in the rig I made for Incineroar with the auto-rigger to move. They rotate fine but I can't drag them around at all. Any ideas?
They made entire models just to act as shadows? ._.
This isn't uncommon in video games past. Doing the math for casting a shadow using the highest-quality geometrey would be very expensive, so by optimizing them down (up to 10% poly count in some cases) - and I do bet they automated it to reduce polygons but preserve the skin - the result still looks perfectly fine and is a much-needed performance increase.

Some shadow models look REALLY low poly, while others look just a bit lower poly. I wonder if the really low poly shadows are noticeable in-game.

Only silhouette matter, everything else not so much. Besides, I'll take jaggy shadows over fake oval shadows any day.
Unless you're trying to greenscreen, in which case fake oval shadows are easier to edit out with the magic wand tool.
Anyone here heard of the low poly walking models? I think Pokémon were supposed to follow you in SM.

Those don't exist except for the small number of Pokemon in maps. They're just the shadow models we were already talking about.
So what, is Pokemon Stars a hoax?
Edit: Not the trailer. The actual game.
Those things aren't related, I can't say.
(Even if it existed they probably wouldn't use the simpler LODs given that Pokemon and trainers are Xbox-360 quality at their very best.)

Wireframes for Pokémon were found that have walking and running animations in SM. Since then they have been given textures by hackers. A lot of people think all Pokémon were meant to follow you, which is why they were lower poly.

Aagh, that's so full of misinformation that it hurts to read.
Those "low-poly" / "wireframe" models aren't anything special. They're just the shadow models, as I mentioned earlier, which is why they're not textured (because they don't need to be). How is that in any way "proof" about a Switch version of the game?
Also Pokémon in Poke Finder will walk and run around already. I don't know exactly why every Pokemon has these animations, but the models & animations are used in other games as well.

OK, mb. I thought there were 2 sets of low poly models. Though, it's really odd that there are walking animations for ALL Pokémon.
Those things aren't related, I can't say.
As far as I could recall, the site that originally reported the existence of "Pokemon Stars" (it seems I was mistaken about the actual name) claimed that pokemon could walk around with you. However, actually looking back at the source, it seems to have been mere speculation. Also it was Eurogamer, not that site that originally reported this.
Just for the record RTB, I never claimed Pokemon Stars was real. I have plenty of reason to doubt its existence, (unrelated to the news source) fake trailer or not. I don't know what Eurogamer's "multiple sources" are so I have no real way of knowing for sure.
I am going to guess that the walking animations may be used for a later update for SuMo (Perhaps, maybe it's for the Switch version of SuMo.) or for the Gen IV remakes.
Yeah, I think the walking animations would make more sense for the Pokédex, since I don't think animations were added to the models for the dex.
For some reason, only Porygon's eyes animate.

BTW, is it possible to change the eye texture that's used in Ohana3DS?
Can anyone make a 3D model of Takeshi (Brock)?

There's already a couple of terribly low-poly models made that are rigged in MMD... Including a pony... If you can contact the model makers or figure out how to convert them, you should be able to use them.

Eesh, they're pretty terrifying.

Well, at least those people were able to make them at all... That's more than either of us can say.
My pack's finally been finalized now. It only took me, what, a month to port 'em over to Garry's Mod? Don't ask.

And Brewster also released a pack, too:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=826026620
Got a little bit of a goof there with the SFM link, it's the same as the GMod link!
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=691587896
But congrats on the pack release/update! I'm glad I was able to take some time out of my busy schedule to help you out with it.
...and the SFM Workshop's filesize limit is absolutely terrible, isn't it? Now you understand why I hate it...
Some Pokémon have missing eye textures when you select the last eye texture.

That was intentional, because it's body has a bodygroup of his fainted form, and if i kept the eyes from being able to not be there, then you would see a set of floating eyes. the bodygroup of it's second body has fainted eyes.
Is this supposed to happen?

Does anyone know where the color masks for the player are stored/how they're derived if they're not actually stored anywhere?
I've been looking for them and couldn't find anything.

Hey guys I saw Giratina ported into Garry's Mod.
Did anyone try to port 2 of Zygarde's new forms (10% and complete) as a Ragdoll, Player Model, or NPC. IDC what type of model it'll be. Take your time, though

Did a Bayleef render because I was bored. I will probably do a release next month.
