Why would you need PBR versions of Pokémon that have already been ported? That doesn't really make much sense...
Ok, Request withdrawn about Pokemon The port has already been completed. [editline]14th June 2013[/editline] I will request again. (Duosion, Emolga, Solosis, Swadloon, Victini, Luxio. ) Remove (Azurill [PBR Ver.], Pichu [PBR Ver.], Raichu [PBR Ver.]、 Shinx [PBR Ver.], Teddiursa [PBR Ver.]) And so as long as you request many years ago can request one of these Luxio, and we look forward to completion.
I can't spawn the Pokémon SNPCs anymore and an error keeps on popping up that says there's not enough memory.
Have you read the description? Also, it may be having problems due to conflicting files or something like that. I may have to add the animations to RTB's ragdoll models, but only be activated as SNPCs with the Pokemon SNPC addon. Can't say for certain it'll work; haven't given it any deep thought yet. Also, please don't drop this too heavily on this thread. I'm but a PM away, or even in the comments of the addon. I read all of the comments. All of them.
Conflicts! The bane of GMod modellers everywhere! I'll be helping Treevis rectify that problem soon.
I'd like to help out with making ragdolls, but so far I've only been able to export Pokémon statues into Garry's Mod, nothing with moveable limbs. Here's my current workflow: - Export models from BRRES Viewer in PSK format, which leaves bones intact - Import PSK models into 3DS Max 2012 - ???? Something I need to do here to turn the model into an actual ragdoll - Export as a Garry's Mod model using Wall Worm Model Tools What procedure do RTB and others use? Maybe I'm making things harder on myself by trying to use Wall Worm. Note: I probably don't have enough experience to make robust, glitch-free ragdolls yet. I used to think that once you had all the bones you were pretty much set, but I guess one has to add joint constraints and whatnot. For now, the ones I make only need to be good enough to use in article images for a Pokémon site (like the one below). But if I do make ragdolls that are robust enough to publish, I'd be happy to contribute. p.s. thanks for all your hard work so I could make pictures like this one. Resize and export as SMD to merge polygon groups together into one mesh. 4. Re-import SMD, fix the smoothing groups where necessary, and re-export. 5. Re-import SMD again, split the eye/mouth bodygroups as separate models and export SMDs. 6. Make physics model, rig and export SMD. Also export "skeleton" SMD. 7. Set up QC, compile, set up limits, and recompile.
Oh god it's been ages. Didn't I like request the Unown forms some while back as props? I haven't touched Garry's Mod in ages. Damn crap won't load anymore. Seems like I've missed out on a ton.
Is it possible to get all the unown?
Making them all props would make it a lot easier than if they were ragdolls. However they are supposed to have some degree of flexibility. I'd recommend porting them as props for now, and ragdolls when you manage to get a lot of free time.

So it seems the Unown request has gained some momentum. Is it easier to take the models from Melee or make simple solid props from PBR?
oh god how i've missed this place ; u ; but, thank god i was banned for those years. it gave me time to mature, and time to get photoshop and sai, instead of just Paint.NET. i even have a wacom bamboo tablet instead of just a mouse for drawing, which means better alt. textures and skins! also, apologies for not capitolizing, it's almost 1AM here. anyway, i better head to bed and i'll continue working on some shinies for pokemon such as: Blaziken, Torchic, Treeko, Torterra (DP and HGSS), etc. another thing i'll try to do is update the current shinies to their most recent colors. (some are a sligtly different color than their sprites) EDIT: does anyone here know how to illuminate things properly? Last time i tried, it didn't work. I'd rather not ask RTB or Apoc, since we all know you two are great enough as is. I'd prefer it if someone less well known stood up to the challenge so they could shine a bit brighter. Oh, and I'll make sure Shellder and Aggron get possibly higher res skins, if possible.
Thread dead again... BTW, when will be the next pokémons ported?
I was pretty sure the target release was around 30th June - 5th July, but this is just my rough estimation.
RTB, I'm not sure what quality these models are, but here's this; http://roestudios.co.uk/project/3d-pokemon-models/ It claims it has all Pokemon, From Bulbasaur all the way to Arceus. It lets you download the models individually or all at once, just something I found.

But I'm not really the sort who can properly judge them, I can't even tell a jpg from a png after all...

Aggron, everybody.
Hm, seems to be the same raw models ripped from PBR, I've seen that mutilated aggron before.
Yep. Those would be the exact same ones I got from ImaginaryZ a few years back, in all their broken glory (mainly the 1st-3rd gen ones). They're not any better than what I've already got. I ended up getting Aggron's model from Colosseum instead since it's the same model, and it came out T-posed anyway.
You could, perhaps, try Pokemon modelled without non-connected parts, such as Arceus, Staraptor, Tyranitar, Staraptor, Pidgeot, Delcatty, Staraptor, Seaking, Staraptor, Star-motherfucking-raptor.

You want Weedle. :v: Jokes aside, juhis is right; some of the models you mentioned are available in the PokéPark games. Reconstructing them wouldn't really serve much of a purpose.

I was thinking that I would give a try to import animations from PokéPark games to Source engine, because there's a fantastic tool which enables that ragdolls can be turned into animated props with ease:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=120629004

I really want to see those ones animated more.

Haven't really used it on anything else. If you could do that it'd be awesome, it'd make whoever's making the NPC's job a lot easier I'm sure.
So this still exists: It's just a slightly oversized statue right now, but I spent a day figuring out how to get models into source and tweaking MTL files for the best results. Still need to sort eyes and mouth into bodygroups.
Why is it's claws purple?
They're probably purple because of the lighting differences between different game engines. I noticed this on tons of ported models. One notorious game is Sonic the Hedgehog. I saw Silver with horrifying texture issues, and I've even had the misfortune of testing Sonic, who had the same horrifying issue. All you have to do is fix the texture for the model's lighting and stuff, i believe.
