While we're (most likely temporarily) on the topic of fan-made Pokemon, I'm trying to get help developing two fan-made pokemon games (Pokemon Chrome and Spectrum) and I'm looking for help.
Also, I'm adding 5+ new types, an extremely large region with more interesting story and fun events, 500+ new pokemon on top of the official ones, 100% Complete Full Character Customization, Pokeball Seals returning with more, and censorship settings.
Anyway, I'm looking for ideas for pokemon of one of the new types.
New Types
Aria- Sound-based type that is similar to Normal in the way that it is combined a lot
Bird- weak to fire, rock, electric, and can be hit by ground (normal/flying-types now become Bird-type)
Flying- Now different from Bird-type, as Flying is more wind and flight than birds (Fan-rotom, Charizard, Gyarados, etc.)
Enigma- Similar to space-related types, weak to itself, Dragon, Psychic, Ghost, Dark, and Dream
Radiant- light-based type effective on but weak to Dark
Sugar- just a type for show with weaknesses of water, bug, and fire
Dream- Weak to Dark, Psychic, and Ghost. It's a type that's rare but can be either extremely weak or very powerful, and usually has that extreme change during evolution
I ran out of ideas after making a REM pokemon, a lullaby Blanket Flower pokemon, a Trumpet Vine pokemon, and a black hole pokemon..
Oh, and i finally wrote myself a note to get those damn pokeballs done and do a free HD non-animated spray for anyone as an apology for constantly forgetting about the pokeballs ; - ;
hmm... Bird types are hit by ground? Even though Pokémon like Pidgeot aren't weak to Ice types anymore, it's now weak to fire? You're kinda OPing Fire a bit and Enigma gets 6 weaknesses? Ouch.
BTW, Ice types are pretty rare, so making Bird weak against two common types is a bit harsh.

Forgot to mention that Enigma is resistant to all other types but Water, Grass, and Fire, and is not effected by Fighting or Steel and that it's an extremely rare type.
The reason bird is weak to fire is because of how so many birds are cooked and eaten. They can also be hit by ground-type moves because Kiwis, Ostriches, Emus, and Penguins are non-flying birds.
I'm making Ice-types more common in this generation, especially up in the Canada-themed northern area of the huge region.
I forgot to mention Data-type, exclusive to the Porygon family, a new Rotom form, and 2 new pokemon i'm still designing. They're a computer mouse and a CAT scan. Data is resistant to Electric and Steel, but weak to Bug and Poison (computer bugs and viruses).
Another thing to be added is 2 completely different storylines for the two games and 3 different possible rivals on each game.
You are the son/daughter of the head of the Team Eclipse and the ex captain of the Epsilon team. Your rival depends on which of the 3 starters you choose. Your rival will become your foe through the story, and the other 2 rivals will become occasional support. One being a good friend, the other being an acquaintance.

You are a regular civilian trainer who lives in the starting town. You are able to choose from a different set of 3 starters and the rival you get will be your sibling. The other two possible rivals will appear occasionally as unimportant characters or a friendly battle in a tournament.
I'm thinking of adding Rival customization.
I, for one, would enjoy Bird-type quite well. On a minor note...

Ampharos done got his hair did.
Also, this gives Dunsparce a chance!
And it doesn't look like these are permanent, as they're activated with items and stuff.

Now this is bizarre, but I presume it would be very nifty to make Pokémon stand-out from others, or something along those lines...
Ok, so it's been confirmed it's only in-battle and they get new cries for some (namely Mewtwo) and remastered for others.
Also, the new gym leader is Fighting-type and has a Mienshao helmet.
Gogoat's pre-evolution can jump ledges (finally!)
Geodude hologram is seen in the training Facility so maybe Sinnoh got tired of their selfdestructing Gravelers.

I thought that was the point of having Shiny Pokemon.

How about MegaLickilcky? An oval-shaped Pokémon with tiny nubs for limbs.

Is it? Seems like a fairly popular fakemon. Four pages on google, and not all of the results are from you.

Are you making it on gmod or using these models? Otherwise, it's kiiiiinda off-topic. Leppercon was only relevant because of malmite's model.
They can also be hit by ground-type moves because Kiwis, Ostriches, Emus, and Penguins are non-flying birds.
Make them normal/flying like every other flightless bird pokemon and remove the resistance for normal/flying and flying/normal same with ice/flying and flying/ice for the penguin like delibird.
D'oh, and my stupidness caused by my autism yet strikes again. >_<
If you have high functioning, you should probably know that high functioning autism doesn't have that particular aspect to it... seems to be a little-known fact for some reason. But that's WAY off topic.
Is it? Seems like a fairly popular fakemon. Four pages on google, and not all of the results are from you.
Not sure if it's *that* popular. If you look closer on Google and make sure it isn't looking for "leprechaun" rather than "Leppicorn," there's actually only three(ish) pages, and I think the results that aren't from me all originate from one site/source.

I'm making them for the game, but will also make them compatible with gmod and SFM.
Deliberd is a santa pokemon so it has to fly, so it will keep it's magical typing.
Besides, the Bird-type having common weaknesses allows me to give it higher attack and speed than other stats, as well as allow them to learn slightly larger variety of moves. Pokemon like Dodrio would have higher attack and speed due to this and would now be able to learn moves such as Peck Out (new move similar to Bullet Seed and Fury Swipes and such, except it causes flinching). There will be acceptions for the flying-type/bird-type thing, but I'm rewriting the typechart to fit 2 newer types I added and keep it balanced for all but the Sugar-type, which is only for show and provides no real visible benefits.
Now my biggest question about your project iBall, Why?
Why do you need to add these new types? Why do you need to create new pokemon instead of using what is already there?
Seems like there's plenty of pokemon fangames out there that have these huge ambitions like new types, new areas, etc, and then they die before ever getting released. Sometimes there will be a demo, but they still die.

The types after Radiant (light) and Aria (sound), im being commissioned to make.... I just write a bunch of things and the guys commissioning me choose.
The pokemon is because it's gonna be based off of Canada, US, Mexico, and South America and have 5 pokemon leagues and 4 sets of starters. It's 4 regions in one with a final international league. Remember, it's not even past concept art and the only thing modeled so far is a horrifyingly low quality signpost. I just wanted to make a new region and make about 300 new pokemon, but then some people liked the idea and wanted me to put in what they wanted by occasionally commissioning me. I'm thinking about changing it so it fits the way pokemon works more, but then i wouldn't get any of the money that's building up.

So in other words you're basically dooming your game to meet the same exact fate as every other attempted fangame that tried to do all of these things?
I mean it's already bad enough you're doing a fully 3D game, but you're setting your ambitions WAY too high here.

You realize there's about 18 pokemon fan-games from scratch in development and in beta and alpha, right? You can easily find them all on deviantArt, like Cinder and Foam, Infrared and Ultraviolet, etc.
I never said it's coming out anytime soon. I'm pretty sure i already said I expect the beta to be out some time maybe 2016 or 2018. If I can't find anyone to help with the 3D stuff, I'll make them HD sprites instead.
Btw, I need help designing bug-types since I'm insectophobic and arachnophobic...

I'd wonder how much progress they end up making before Nintendo inevitably presents a cease and desist notice.
How much time and effort...even how much money would be wasted.

Actually, Nintendo's known about most of them from the beginning. They still have to show all the proper credits for all the pokemon and characters and etc used, and aren't allowed to use any resources from the real games (coding, sprites, sounds, etc.) or sell copies of the game.
Nintendo seems to only dislike the fanmade games when they're making Nintendo look bad, isn't that right PeTA?

Actually, now that I think of it, not using any resources from the actual games would be a good enough reason to use fakemon.
Nintendo seems to be picky about their issuing of C&Ds, but I don't think that's the reason why. Plus I have heard word that they changed their policies to be lighter on the fanworks.
I'm going to work on art for 2 of the 6 new pokemon i made to show off the 3 types i'm keeping. Which would you guys like to see first?
-240x240 pokemon sprites (Larger sprites possible due to it being for PC, also allows more size variations being noticeable between pokemon such as Flabebe and Infernape and Steelix)
-Pokedex image of them using http://hyuka.deviantart.com/art/Template-383191795
(Click Optimistic for art, Artistic for sprites so you don't have to reply a lot)

Don't get too crazy with size differences, unless you're willing to demonstrate such images of Wailord and Joltik together.
