Facepunch Camouflage Thread V2 - Developers

Been using a lot of camo files here for use in Arma 3. Thought I'd share some here. Thanks so much for all your hard work. @ Alig96 There are a few techniques you can use. Try adding the mountain dew texture on a separate layer over the weapon texture while having it on "overlay" mode. I'm using Paint.net for stuff like this and it would be best for you to use it if you don't have a descent photoshop program yet. Hope it helps. :) Edit: For the sake of humor, try reskinning the ejected shotgun shells with a can texture. :D

I literally got the weapon texture, put the mountain dew texture on a layer above and put the opacity at 50-60% and that was it. Is this similar to this "overlay mode"? Or is it different?

Hey mate. I have another Tiger Stripe camo request, but this time for winter warfare. Could it be possible to get the same pattern but with two different sets of colours? For the first variant, I'm think of White along with a dark and light shade of grey. For the second variant, I think White, dark grey and a sage colour if possible would be great. Reply back when you can.

I have to point it out since it really bothers me. But Irish camo is not known as "Paddyflage". Simple known as DPM or Irish DPM.

Also, I did put the 'paddyflage' term after the formal DPM nomenclature (and in inverted commas as shown), so it's not like I'm being offensive on purpose.

No soldier I know or they know has ever referred it as such and even shoots down the term saying "it's bollocks".

I wasn't satisfied with how it turned out so I stopped working on it, this is after 4 tries. I'll at least release this one but I'm not going to bother making it tiled. I'll add some color variations if you guys want those.

Ah, That explains a bit. Anyhow, I still think that it looks ok. On a side note, Could it be possible to get a template of your Tiger Strip Camo pattern please (if you use Photoshop for this)? Reason I ask is that this is for my Blackforce Corporation models I'm working on for the Espionage Wars and I have knocked up my own Arctic/Winter versions, but compared to your patterns and how I did mine, my versions look like crap.
