Could someone make a Wz.93 Pantera woodland camouflage please?
page 10 of the thread. I HAD to go and think about Tiger Stripe, didn't I... Well, I scoured the net a bit, and I managed to make a speculative patchwork reconstruction of John Wayne Dense. Speculative in terms of horizontal repeat. Found a very low-res image of the pattern, and the edges seem to suggest a horizontal repeat, but none of the bits used in uniforms seem to point there. I'll post the patchwork and you guys can go to town with it again. So many patterns to vectorize, I don't even know where to start anymore. THIS is something to call authentic, though I don't know if other countries used it. [THUMB]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/tigerstripe%20john%20wayne%20dense%20speculative%20repeat_zpswsnin4r1.png[/THUMB] Got the Guyana pattern ready to vectorize as well. [THUMB]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/Guyana%20Tiger%20Stripe_zpsfv8neqgg.png[/THUMB]
[thumb]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/tigerstripe%20advisor%20sparse_zpskpmfordz.png[/thumb] Got one of the Vietnam war tiger stripes ready for vectorization in a form that tiles on both axes. Currently vectorizing it.
[THUMB]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/Indonesian%20Strategic%20Reserve%20Cavalry%20splinter_zpsyvaqiapb.png[/THUMB] Made a quick splinter reconstruction of this Indonesian pattern. These are always nice and easy.
Noticed I'd made an error before with Splitter 45, thinking the base pattern was a modified Splitter 41. Instead the Splitter 45 is just the overprint and the base pattern in the sample I'd found on the net was a low-contrast Telo Mimetico M1929. Overprint tiles on both axes [THUMB]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/Splittermuster%2045%20-Overprint_zpso82r3bro.png[/THUMB] Telo Mimetico doesn't tile horizontally. [THUMB]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/Splittermuster%2045%20-base%20telo%20mimetico%2029_zpsfk20lby6.png[/THUMB] But if you're feeling lazy, here's a fully repeating tile. you wouldn't happen to have a good tiled version of Jeitai, would you?
Is someone got this? ROK Army's camouflage

you wouldn't happen to have a good tiled version of Jeitai, would you?
I have it ready for vectorization. Will take a while. VERY complex shapes, requiring a total of thousands of nodes in vector graphics. Hey, nice camos. Btw, I can't find any Lithuanian camos, and I need them bad for one game. Can someone make/get one? Thanks.

Fuck yeah! thanks Rusty for teh PSG textures! :) [editline]29th August 2015[/editline] @Tounoushi Great texture for the 6-color version of the pnp police camo. Will wait for your Tigerstripe textures because I am a complete sucker for it. Here's the NAVSOG Tigerstripes in "green" and "red" dominant schemes. Try not to quote big comments
Could you possibly do this camouflage here? http://camopedia.org/images/c/ca/Sahara.jpg It's one used by Spain. Also, your camouflage thread had helped me immensely on my texture editing work in Gmod. Here is a pack I worked on, just to show stuff I have made using the camouflage from here. Hey Tounishi, I hope I don't come off as annoying but if you could do a single recolor of the Multicam using these colors:http://www.hyperstealth.com/baseline/Multicam-OCP-Dark-Pre-Post.jpg (Right side version.) It'd make my day. :)

And recoloring involves editing each gradient individually.
if there's a PSD of multicam readily available, I would be willing to try
Not really camo, but I remember someone posted a tiling version of Max Payne's terrible parrot shirt. I can't remember if it was this thread or a different camo/texture thread, any help?
Just posting some patterns I found on teh web. Not mine though.. :p US 3 Color Desert aka "DCU" US 6-Color Desert aka "Desert Storm" US M81 Woodland
That'd take a long time. The "flat" areas are easy to do, but each gradient must be made as its own shape in Inkscape. I'm assuming this would allow easier recoloring.

I'm assuming this would allow easier recoloring.
The reason I work with vectors is that I can scale the pattern without any loss in quality, as would be resultant with a raster image resize. Sometimes this causes difficulties in recoloring, like with Multicam and its gradients. And like I'd said, I need to revectorize the entire pattern now that I have a fully repeating non-vectorized tile available to me. Last time I did that, it took me a long time to do. [editline]5th September 2015[/editline]
US M81 Woodland [THUMB]http://i.imgur.com/alXrWj6.jpg[/THUMB]
M81 doesn't tile horizontally. I haven't been able to find the definite horizontal edges, either. This is as far as I've gotten with the pattern, as through searching all possible samples of M81 and ERDL (M81 is a IIRC [DEL]30% increased size [/DEL]to the ERDL and has thicker black shapes). [THUMB]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/usm81_zpskvivdzo2.png[/THUMB] EDIT: "The m81 Woodland is a 1.6 times enlargement of the ERDL pattern. The former repeats itself every 62 cm vertically, the latter every 38 cm." -Camopedia
@Tounushi To be honest I haven't tried making these patterns in Photoshop so I really didn't notice.

This looks WAY better than what I posted. Thanks! :)
That DCU and the 3C/Choco Chip look pretty nice actually [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/x0Qnskd.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Has anyone had a crack at making the 'brushstroke' patterns featured on the Denison smock?
Has anyone had a crack at making the 'brushstroke' patterns featured on the Denison smock?
War-time Denison patterns were hand-painted with water-soluble paint. 1959 and later patterns were printed. http://iacmc.forumotion.com/t5435-pattern-1959-denison

http://iacmc.forumotion.com/t5435-pattern-1959-denison
Guess that answers the 'how were they made IRL' part of my question. Still doesn't indicate whether or not a tileable version already exists however.
[thumb]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/denison_zps6ozxwtdr.png[/thumb] Hope this is sufficient. Only captures the look and feel. Isn't directly modeled on a real tile.

Speaking of brush.. here are some necro patterns from the Philippines.
Since French Lizard is real popular, here's some imitations I created two years ago from shapes on a Tigerstripe pattern since Tigerstripe is ultimately a derivative of French Lizard, plus a hybrid with Rhodesian Brush Stroke. I also used to have a version based on Alpenflage too but I've lost it. :(
