Dude I know it's a vietnam pattern. What i'm saying is their pattern of fabric for sale is HARD to find due to printing reasons I guess.
I do recall the US Army having a trial UCP/ACU pattern in green. I could be wrong.
It's either ripstop or twill. Thing is: it is really a hard find, despite I circled the whole textile stores at Ilaya Street at Divisoria, you can't find that textile. All I can find there are plain textiles. Some folks in the AFP Group on Facebook says that there "are" people selling camouflage textiles in Dau, Pampanga. Not sure with that because I haven't been to Dau. This one will definitely catch your attention. Check out the digital tigerstripes of the NAVSOG.

@All
Had you guys try checking this forum for camouflage patterns? http://iacmc.forumotion.com/
That's my photo you got from iacmc.
Fuck Dau. That shit is too far.. hehehe.

I didn't know about the photo was yours anyway. IACMC houses a lot of camouflage patterns if anyone is very peeky on the threads on every sub-category. And yes... Dau, Pampanga is very far that I need to ride a provincial bus to get there.
I don't mind travelling far as long as there aren't much Pampangeños who will threaten you or get you lost elsewhere. I don't wanna be racist here but I was warned by a friend who lives in Pampanga if you don't know their dialect... They might get kinky on fresh new faces (on you) though. I am also not sure of other military supplies around the Metro Manila (aside from those in Manila City and Quezon City that has lots of Military Supply stores around).

Thank you for this as well.
I've been giving this sample of Croatian Woodland some work and the pattern really confuses me. Is the repeat supposed to be vertical? Or is the sample too incomplete to use as a source? The country outlines seem to be oddly forced into the image. They don't look like they've been in there initially, and from what I did in photoshop it might confirm that suspicion. What do you guys think?

Try testing the pattern via Photoshop. Define pattern that image, create a new document, make a copy of the background layer, and pattern overlay using that pattern. You can clearly see at first if the pattern is seamless vertically or horizontally.

Do you have the original sample? This one has so many reverses and rotations involved that I wouldn't wanna go touching it.
Do you have the original sample? This one has so many reverses and rotations involved that I wouldn't wanna go touching it.
Yeah, I just gave a look at some of the uniform photographs and it turns out that whoever made this sample just mangled a very small section of the real pattern, smudged out spots, and pasted in the few prints that were there.
Here's a few samples of the real deal. Judging by the right side on the first image, it should be a vertical repeat?

There's definitely a vertical repeat.
The samples are too narrow for me to determine offhand whether or not there's a horizontal repeat.
Too bad there's no pics of the back.

Well after a few alternative search prompts I was able to snag a picture of the backside. Not exactly the best but it gives you an idea. (They're not commercially available so it makes sense that you can't find pictures of them)

Though, from my judgment at least it seems as if the pattern is freakishly tall.
Tounushi do you have a French CCE woodland camo available in your stash?!.. hehe
Alright, since I couldn't bother with retracing this shit I found an even more alternative source, a magazine website published by the MoD. Ripped the background out and after a few edits later, here's a fairly non-tiling but otherwise accurate set of the digital camo:

[t]https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/FC4jPw4.png[/t]
[t]https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/FDdcn5o.png[/t]
I might make a variant that's a bit more dulled out according to the photographs eventually.

No. It's common for complex patterns to be ~70cm tall.
For some reason I'm thinking there's a diagonal repeat. Not seeing direct evidence for this, but I think it's likely. That's an easy way of making a small drawing, yet have a large tile.
Did someone say MTP? No? Well fuck you, I'm posting it anyways. ALL OF IT.

That's pretty much all of the MTP on my computer atm. I hope someone will find this useful.
5 or 6 look almost the same with just more saturation
The rest is pretty useful
Wow.. teh revisions! so many.. :p
Do you take private requests Tounushi? I tried sending you a PM but you have them disabled.
Thank you so much for this thread (Whoever made it)

does anyone have a decent ATACS-iX pattern?

Enabled now. I think.

Not exactly A-TACS, but something of a similar concept. I like to call it OcCam.

You all remember the PLR forces from Battlefield 3's singleplayer?

Well, I decided to extract the camo from the game, and to then redraw the camouflage from scratch by using the BF3 texture as reference. And this is with what I came up; and it is fully seamless by the way:

And here is some real life reference of the Iranian military using it:

Very Nice, I'll try this out in ARMA 3 if you don't mind, and credited back to you?

Go ahead. I don't remember the scale of it anymore, though. Guess it was 100cm high?
