Jordanian KA2 raw tile. Like alpha raw. I got the repeat in, got most of the pattern figured out, but I need details added in so I could make a reconstruction.[/t]
Here's some pics from my collection. Maybe they will help. Very nice. But it looks like I'll have to do the same as with MARPAT: vectorize it and use pixels with rounded corners. Gonna be time-consuming as hell...
Getting rid of the blurriness around each pixel is next to impossible, unless you spend a whole lot of time on recreating the pattern on HD... which kind off defeats the purpose of releasing it here in the first place. No disrespect intended, but you just could have said no when I asked the first time. Your camo is good though, it is just a pity that you had to release this here in that resolution, unlike all your other camos which are not in a lossy condition. ^^

Hence my preference of vector graphics, as I've explained. MARPAT/CADPAT do not seem to be patterns with crisp edges or fully consistent pixel sizes, thus not being pure pixel patterns. If you open those KA2 pictures in a different tab, you'll see the same there. I aim for max possible accuracy I can with the tools and materials I have.

Some shapes may "overflow" onto each other, and the extent can depend on both dye and material. Since Tounushi uses pictures of uniforms and fabrics, the uncertainty is unavoidable. Also, printed digital patterns are a real pain to deal with. You could try indexing colours, it seemed to work for his MARPAT tile.
I made some painted Arma 3-style multicam: [t]http://i.imgur.com/7sIfuFt.png[/t] Also, CSAT Green Hex: [t]http://i.imgur.com/KWlL81f.png[/t]
I figured out the tile for the 2008 Turkish pattern. Its crude as hell and low res, my work of putting it together was sloppy. My plans are to draw over it whenever I have the time and motivation for that so any problems with the tile I can correct myself, though I figured I'd post the tile here if anyone's interested or wants to use it as a reference for a higher quality image. Most of the tile is made up of a picture from ripstop material or something like that.

Mine for comparing notes. [t]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/Turkish%20Digital_zpshyx2e4tf.png[/t] BTW, how do you piece together your raws? Photoshop? I find I need to stretch corners on samples to piece together a pattern.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ne9r49K.png[/t] Terrible attempt at Arma 3-style Tropic Multicam.
@Nightmare515 That's actually a nice Multicam Tropical attempt! If you have any Woodland or DPM patterns post it please.

Luckily this pattern has a small tile and its pretty uncomplicated,
Yeah, all I did was open images in an editing software and piece together the pattern with the samples I had like a puzzle.
A puzzle with amorphous and overlapping pieces...
@Nightmare515 That's actually a nice Multicam Tropical attempt! I posted this before but here you go: [t]http://i.imgur.com/DoVwlPy.png[/t] Arma 2-style DPM [t]http://i.imgur.com/b7OEqy1.jpg[/t] Arma 3-style woodland [t]http://i.imgur.com/ybVhyds.png[/t] Also, as an extra: actual Multicam Tropic

Made a bit of a discovery when I was digging around for World of Tanks camo patterns. One of the red team football camos looks VERY familiar. [t]http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/TKB1/facepunch%20forums%20skin%20resources/bitmap_zpsfpv43965.png[/t] Wargaming used the Rock camo pattern from Metal Gear Solid 3. This reminds me, how do I get the appropriate colors for these RGB patterns? In game their colors are assigned by a customization XML file, but I'm wondering how to recolor in photoshop? Simple fill or color replacement leaves stray color remnants and using hue layers don't give the desired result.
That's just how they are in the game, they use the R/G/B channels as masks for the different colors of the pattern. You'd have to either vectorize it or deal with the quality not being so great.
You'd have to either vectorize it or deal with the quality not being so great.
Yeah, was gonna do that anyway. It's more about figuring out the proper colors, because there are four color channels with their own RGBA values per pattern/color scheme. It's about the order, as the customization.xml didn't explain which color channel corresponds to which color. e.g. color0 would be red? In that vein if color1 is green and color2 is blue, WTH is color3? Furthermore, should someone contact Konami over WG using their assets?
I doubt Konami give a shit. The only way I can think of replicating the pattern is to just eyeball it from the colors in the game. Look to see which parts use which color and try emulating the colors as best you can.
Sorry to be that guy. But has Swiss Alpenflage been created yet? Forgive me if I overlooked it http://image.sportsmansguide.com/adimgs/l/1/182623_ts.jpg

Three color overprints and the base color with specks.
@Nightmare515 Thanks bro! I didn't notice you had those patterns posted before.. cheers! @Tounushi Thanks for those DPM patterns. Im using the jungle DPM colour as my wallpaper eversince.. hehe
You do not comprehend how difficult it is to get the real thing reconstructed. Three color overprints and the base color with specks.
I have tried believe me! You're work is much more higher quality though. :)
Will recolors of the camo be accepted on this thread? I was just curious. If ever that I will do camo recolors, I will credit the original artist.
Will recolors of the camo be accepted on this thread? I was just curious. If ever that I will do camo recolors, I will credit the original artist.
Several recolors have already been submitted in this thread, so I guess the answer is yes? This is a point I'd like to know for certain as well.. Tounushi I have a couple recolors/edits of your work I was wondering... Would such a thing be permissible to submit to this thread? Credit for any recolor release would be noted, of course.
Sorry to be that guy. But has Swiss Alpenflage been created yet? Look at Camo texture # 67. Not the best quality but better than nothing, you might be able to edit it's colors to what you desire.

I don't know if it was already made or not (not found it yet), but is there any version of US digital winter camo? (not one in OP) [t]http://i.imgur.com/jaXJE5k.jpg[/t]
I don't know if anyone has already posted these patterns yet, but if you can would you be able to post where I can find them or post these patterns here? The second one is just the US woodland pattern. The Serbians copied it without modifying it at all.
The second one is just the US woodland pattern. The Serbians copied it without modifying it at all.
Second screenshot looks more like Croatian troops, not Serbian. The illustrations are of uniforms during the Yugoslav wars. I mainly just want the M89 pattern versions.
