Got some material on Rauchtarn to go on. The overprint at least seems to have some manner of repeat. Does anyone have good material on the pattern? Trying to reconstruct the overprint and the base pattern (which MIGHT be the same pattern as on Platanenmuster).

Thing with PECOC is that it isn't a DPM94. It uses the same shapes, but it isn't the same pattern. I haven't had enough material to fully reconstruct it.

That's pretty much a standard DPM colour palette, but with a darker and more purplish shade of brown. The shades of green and tan used are also darker than average.
Three more DPM variants, by the way: a somewhat decent stab at the British 'tropical' pattern which is basically temperate DPM but with a brighter and more saturated colour palette (NZ DPM also has/had a bright colour palette), a (ghastly-looking) blue two-tone pattern used by police recruits at the Academy of Saad Al-Abdullah in Kuwait (See it in use [URL="http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/kuwait-city-kuwait-kuwaiti-police-cadets-demonstrate-their-military-picture-id74166543"]here[/URL] and [URL="http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMjA2NDMyNTAzOF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNzg5NzM4MTE@._V1_SX640_SY720_.jpg"]here[/URL]), and lastly a fictional variant which uses the colour palette from the 'Children of Men' DPM/ACU hybrid:

I'm also gonna draw attention to the 1960 and 1968 versions of DPM if anyone just so happens to be interested in recreating them. The former has green edging around the green and brown shapes on the pattern, while the latter only has that edging for the green shapes:

The Camo The North Korean Soldiers Use In Red Dawn (2012) Is Type 07 "Universal"
I've got two candidates of Rauchtarn for vectorization. The left one seems to be a repro, while the pieced together pattern on the right seems to be closer to the authentic article. The colors are by no means correct, as I enhanced them so I could better tell the overprint apart. The pattern repeat seems to be 43cm.

I don't know if they ran different methods of doing the overprint, but looks like I'll have to make two versions with the transparent part: fiddle with opacity and use stippling.
The pattern on top of which the overprint is printed is a three-color Eichlaubenmuster, just like with Platanenmuster.

The occupying force was originally supposed to be China, but they changed it to North Korea at the last minute.
Got the 1930 German shelter-half pattern redone. It's one pattern in six color combinations. Each piece can be linked with another.

It is called the "Army 2000 Subdued DPM pattern"... the one we use in the Army. Though, you can find relevant images of it on Google. Somewhat similar to PRC's Special Forces DPM pattern.

Whipped up some alt-history camos. I call the pattern SS-46.
Well, technically it's Splitter-45 because that's the overprint, but it's over the previously completed base patterns. Got summer and autumn versions. I think it looks cool :)

Had to tweak with the sizing of the pattern for it to tile, but if you're more of a stickler for detail, you could use the three-color SS-Eichen and the Splitter-45 overprint as separate layers.
