Was browsing camopedia and noticed Indonesia has alot of interesting patterns. Anyone working on anything there? I might take a stab at recreating an imitation texture sheet or two.

I've taken Vines and a few others into the pipeline, but I'm lacking a lot of the pattern samples. The few I've done are the cavalry splinter and special forces vine.

Cambodian 911 Special Forces Regiment pixelated Loreng Darah Mangalir. used Tounushi's as the base. made it more subdued. Not sure if the base color is a diluted green or still the same.

I don't know about why for a Sci-fi film, or for Sci-fi in general (you are right on the argument there in terms on the age of the pattern), but I tell you mate, it does look pretty good.

Some latest news from my end: I got myself a new rig.
Bad news: I don't have Photoshop Elements anymore. I had an OLD copy of 7 on my previous rig (still do, could dedicate that machine for that activity, but yeah...) and now I need to figure out what other program allows the same methods as I've been using, i.e. skewing corners of images as their own layers.

Based on this sample from Camopedia I was able to recreate the vertical repeat of the Mongolian Border Guard Digital camo, but I had to improvise for the horizontal to make it tile-able.

Was watching some gameplay of the F2P PC title "Black Squad" and decided to try and remake this pattern. Basically edited an old FSB texture I did to more closely match Black Squad's "Granite" camo pattern.
