episoder how did you get the files working in a model viewer?
dunno what you mean!?! noesis? i had it around since i used it for some other game model extract. always worth a try. still... later... found that somebody (btw...) on your thread on vg-resource posted that it can load it. you missed or forgot that one? *shrugs* happens. a thing I should not forget: a big THANK YOU for the data upload. i couldn't have done anything without it.
@no1dead: I do hope you'll upload the client again when they release the next update. I hope to be in the next beta test..., but who knows. I have applied for the beta test as soon as the website was launched, only to find out (like 1 day before the beta) that my account was deactivated due to security issues... so i had to reactivate it... and probably that's why I missed this stress test... Normally since I'm a member of the press I get pass in most betas :)
I'll have any and all of the models you extract mate. That link though? I get a "temporary error, retrying" while trying to download through my browser. Does it work for you?
The only other Tachikoma models available (at least according to the .DAT files as they are now) are the mini-Tachikoma, a black Tachikoma of a different design, and a small gun turret (not exactly sure how that's a Tachikoma, but I'm not going to question it). As for the link I provided, it still works fine on my end.
I'd also like to take a moment to thank you guys who are posting these links and packs... my project is turning out pretty cool. I'm hoping there's a way to crack the fsb files, so that I can dig around in the voices/sounds as well.
all attachments minus the barrels http://sta.sh/23kkb30pver

I'd like to have a look at those too. If they have textures, even better.

awesome job on the attachments kazu maru.
Just wondering, are there any "cutscene" character models in the game (with rigged heads and fingers)?
Hey, no1dead, thanks for getting this going - some really nice models from it.
Just wondering, are there any "cutscene" character models in the game (with rigged heads and fingers)?
only batou and motoko from the intro have a full head rig. they're very hard to rip tho. *shrugs*
Hey, no1dead, thanks for getting this going - some really nice models from it.
No problem.

I'm currently fixing up Batou's textures to be more bodygroup-friendly by removing the baked shading the best I can. If ever I finish I'll be sure to post the files. Also if anyone's interested in Batou's face edit, I can post the rigged model. Before: After:
no offence, but... ugh damnit... @stealth2111. wtf you did there to all the texture files? that some blown up garbage. when i see SH*T like that i just wanna... !?! ...are you that noob? why you do that? and you know the source shading tree? you gotta puzzle all that texture channels in there. i got your batman beyond ak too. same sh*t. where the shading? the effects!?! it's not possible anymore. i call that broken. bad ports. -_- i gotta thank whoever, that there are still full raw files out there/i ripped better.
Very nice this models!

I'm nearly done with the chest, but when removing the belt I ran into this mess, might take a while to reconstruct. Also here's the .obj of the edit I made to batou's head: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tqkonco6yyz6cgy/Batou.obj?dl=0
looks good. how you got that messed up tho? that piece of pants is somewhere else in the uv map. you painting in 3d? huh? done some like that too already. nice. :D
looks good. how you got that messed up tho? that piece of pants is somewhere else in the uv map. you painting in 3d? huh? done some like that too already. nice. :D
I'm painting in 3d, so the brushstrokes over the pants are a bit of a mess-up, but the mess I was referring to was the lack of transition from lower-body to upper-body that was hiding under the belt. I'm trying to figure out what I should do.
well... choices. make it one. or do as a seam for pants. the uv layout still got space. maybe you wanna put some extra belt modeled underneath. make an edge.
Might be an idea to just keep the belt really.
I figured out how to extract the FSB files, thanks to aluigi for finding the password. 1. Use fsbext 2. Extract the files to a folder (preferably in the audio folder) 3. Run fsbext and select the fsb file that you want to extract, and the folder you want to save to. 4. It'll ask you for the password, type the text below (It is case sensitive!)
%lAn2{Pi*Lhw3T}@7*!kV=?qS$@iNlJ
5. If you typed the password correctly, it should have extracted the files.
Worked perfectly, thanks! The ogg files don't play as is though, can you recommend a program to convert them?
Worked perfectly, thanks! The ogg files don't play as is though, can you recommend a program to convert them?
That's weird, I got MP3 files with fsbext. Download revorb.exe and drag the ogg files to it and see if that fixed it. If not, let me know and I'll look into things.
Audacity can open the .OGG format easily. If you wish to convert the .OGG files to the .MP3 format, you'll need to grab the plug-in (which is labelled as "LAME for Audacity"; you can either look that up specifically on Google or search for "Audacity MP3 plugin" instead).
The OGGs in sac_bank06_voice_eng are different than regular OGGs. They don't have a header when I checked in the hex editor.
@Katra804 - I have Audacity and the LAME plugin, but these oggs are different from standard/working ones. E3245 ran into the same issue I did, but he's looking into it.
nice. i see there're seburo 26 sounds. the model is still missing tho. hehe... the tool doesn't write ogg files aka headers correct (yet). nothing fixes that but coding the tool further.
Turns out, the Oggs have no headers, so it cannot be played. I might try something else, though. [editline]27th October 2015[/editline] I found another way to extract sac_bank06_voice_eng, but there are a lot of hoops to pass through. I rather just upload the extracted *.wav files from sac_bank06_voice_eng. However, it won't contain the revorb effect, which is contained in the .Fev file. You can download FMOD Designer and open the file, if you want the revorb effect so bad. sac_bank06_voice_eng *.wav
