also... if i guess correct any reverb effects are added ingame based on the surroundings. i mean... that's how it's supposed to be.
now... i just don't know why the jpn and kor sound so similar and weird. and togusa doesn't sound like togusa. x)

Hello, so apparently the game is on Steam now, as early access. From what I have read on the page those who has participated in the close beta have free access for the early access. So anyone else willing to try it now have to wait or pay 5 Euro to join the train. Anyone who's on the game now can you share the client files?

I couldn't find anything regarding the qsa & nsa files referenced in the naturalmotion binaries and how to convert them to anything that might resemble a fbx file.
How do i view all those nif files? Even Nifskope 2.0 Dev 4 can't access them. Is there something I am not understanding here? Thanks for any assistance.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to all this stuff and I'm mostly focused on animating in Maya, and really want to use these assets.
Can anyone point me to how I can get this to work in Maya, I'm not looking for spoonfeeding, just a source to work from is fine.
You will need gamebryo engine tools and extractors. It should get you the models in a common format you can import in maya.

i don't wanna complain about it, but... the raw contains a texture with the mask for the phong intensity, an ambient occlusion map, and a phongexponent proxy. you can also reverse mix the envmapmask with a combo of the _c texture to provide phongalbedotint for the colored reflection. or you gotta choose to use as the envmetal mask. right. but... source shaders are not up to that materials. so.. yeh... :smile:

I hate to sound ignorant but I really don't know jack about texture work. I try to do the best I can but even then some things come out looking like crap.

I only know of the two normal Tachikoma models (the classic blue ones that Section 9 has, and that black one provided in your screenshot there) and a mini Tachikoma from the game (there's also a gun turret listed, but I still don't see how that's a Tachikoma), so unless they added more, I think you'll only find the two large/regular size ones and the mini.

i'll have the data in 2 hours. will check if it's still possible to extract.
with a lil shader and paint you coulda build her from the beta files in the op. isolate the skin and use her specularity map for the cloth. for her face you coulda used the highres face texture from the major. just recolor the eyes and move some uv islands. did that while still waiting for my slow cable. you see... :v:

Noesis's built-in NIF plugin can do it. I was able to export models with their original rigging (although you'll have to delete the LOD models from the exported model).

I really should extract from this damn game already....
With new files and the game going into version 2.0, has anybody managed to pull new content from the files as of now?
It seems all the previous extractors are dead. And me being a newly addition to this stuff, I am not sure on how to do this. Somebody told me to do ProcDump to find a possible key for the encrpytion, if the files have a necessary key. Buuuut I'm still a green-nose on this one.
Anyhow, anyone of the experts words on this?
