My favorite map period.
I tried downloading the map on garrysmod.org and when it was done it gave me an error saying that the file was corrupt. Then i tried downloading the first version and got the same thing. I don't no if its the file or me but i can download anything else and its fine. I really want this map, so if you could help me out that would be great.
I found that racing in a jeep is a lot easier than racing in a jalopy. Different skill levels I guess. Also, this map is made of epic and win.
Holy snap! This map is just looks awesome! Just from the video you can tell how much work was put into this map. I can't tell if this is a build map, or an RP map. You completely nailed the "beautiful" thing you were going for on this map. I agree with Nutzone, EPICNESS! I haven't seen the first version of this map, but I just know this map's good. You get one more mapping king closer to 100 of those things.
Holy FUCK this looks sweet! EDIT: Just looked at the file size and almost crapped my pants. Could you make it at all smaller?
if there is a v3 (no offense, maybe I have a shitty computer) more optimization. I'm sure you have a lot. but my pc crashed within 1 minute of loading the map.
i cant find the easter eggs or the strider node!!! ANGST... But it is a really good map
Can you add a roller coaster and a small theme park?
German engineering has Revolutionized cars... And now, GMod!
cool, what he say to the map ???
I think he liked the map but not the server as it was crashing all the time.
I think you would be better off removing most of the AI nodes altogether. They only work if you place them correctly, and most of the area of the map is split up by bad node placement. I can post screenshots of the problem areas if you want.
i cant find the easter eggs or the strider node!!! ANGST... But it is a really good map
you can find strider nodes?
Wow this map is freaking huge! And my favourite was the prop remover. Could you make a sent for that prop remover?
It's called the remover toolgun.

Do I need a video card that can handle Episode 2 graphics? If so, I can't play this map. My computer can't run Episode 2, so I'm getting a Nvidia or Nvida Geforce graphics card. Edit: Playing episode 2 requires a decent graphics card. Scince this is adapted to ep 1 and 2 it shouldn't be problem although this requires a decent graphcs card. PS I have a integrated new chipset and on board graphics card and it can handle ep 2 and 1 and this card is pretty cheap but it works great for moderate gaming
That's not really what I asked, I asked DO I need a good videocard to play it??
This is a wonderful map, one of the best if not the best i have seen or played on, however i found one problem with the map(at least on my gmod). The hl2 episode 2 charger does not have sound. Has anyone else had this problem ?
I have a quick question: How did you intergrade all the models and textures and etc into the BSP file when compiling?
You say that this map contains all the stuff needed, however I get some textures missing... First, some roof texture or something in both construct areas: Second, in the bowling alley (you have to enlarge the image to see it): And also, what is this little area for? :v:
I have the same problem. But the map is just dripping with leetsauce.
Sweet Mercy...
It's called the remover toolgun.
I mean the one from the map. It has a cooler effect than the toolgun!
Oh snap, i saw this map after our LANparty :(
This is now the current map for my buildserver! It's good to see someone in the mapping community that's striving for excellence. I've never had better performance from a gmod map online. And I really appreciate the attempt to make not only the map functional, but pleasing to the eye. I often find myself just gazing at the sun, with sunbeams post-processing on, in the secret wooded area, whilst other players go about their thing. More maps should have a sun like this one. Bright, and blinding when looking directly at it. That's realism. I'm amazed at how well you did the car npc's. All the reset buttons are great map self-preservation devices, though I would've recommended that you had possibly one fix all button just in case something really important got deleted like the big doors to the underground area. The only other environment's I'd love to see on your map would be a snow environment, and possibly a combine environment, which would probably be some kind of combine structure. Other than that, you didn't leave much undone. The apartment building was a nice addition. I've setup many a tactical shooter scenario in there, using npc's and allowing players to clear the building out. I've had some people mention a screen for an rt camera for the racetrack so players can remain seated and get a view of the action from either a dash-mounted, player-made, rt camera, or maybe even some kind of helicopter that follows whomever's in the lead. That's the ideas and suggestions I've gathered from both myself, and the players who come to my server. In a nutshell, awesome work! I'd really love to see more gmod maps by you. :D
Was Banana Phone supposed to start playing when you see GMAN fly into the sky and drop bananas? Because I saw the lyrics in the .zip. Must've put something in the wrong folder.
Oh by the way, a quick newsflash: I successfully decompiled the bsp map and defeated its decompile protections. Oh and don't worry, i won't leak it.
I wanna V3! We wanna V3!!!!
Oh by the way, a quick newsflash: I successfully decompiled the bsp map and defeated its decompile protections. Oh and don't worry, i won't leak it.
Houston, we have a problem! This map is still epic.
I lourve this map! The only problem I get is that the hotel lags when I look at it. Everything else works great!
Only complaint i have is the AI nodes. Needs more time spent on them rather than just laying down a grid (i mean for example some of the paths are going under the ground on some parts) Other than that, it's a very good map imo.

I like that alpine house with fireplace.
I can do that, since i decompiled the map
There will come out a final version next week. So please, copyright by Sportkeks and me. ;)
