Mirrors Edge Source: Trailer Map - Developers

This awesome map/sourcemod(?) made source engine crash due to overload of awesomeness. (P.S. I'm not flaming you just saying what you made is pure awesome.)

I put the folder i the Sourcemods" folder and nothing new has shown up... help?

Sweet, just finished ME today

The only game I have on steam is portal. Can I still play it? I heard you need hl2e2. :(

It doesn't look as pretty as it does in the current screenshots. I heard you need hl2e2. :([/QUOTE] No, you still can. You just need to go download the Source SDK Base - Orange Box (see Tools Tab in Steam) Follow the instructions to install. To launch the game, follow this tutorial ([url]http://www.moddb.com/mods/mirrors-edge-source-trailer-map[/url]) up till you get to the path to the mod (the path pasted has C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam [I think the default is C:\Program Files\Steam\])

Is this still being worked on, or has there been a lack of updates?

If you are going to have one of the things red, make every prop that is a part of the runner vision red, otherwise it looks stupid.

is HL2 Episode 2 a orangebox game? because... i want to play it but i only got HL2 episodes games that are from orange box i dont hvae portal or TF2

Any views from the inside? (buildings and such) By the way, textures in Mirror's Edge are very detailed from up close, have you done that too? So far it looks Hawt.

He's not doing anything else with it anymore, it died thanks to no updates

Amazing, absolutly amazing. I had my doubts about there being decent mods that were based of another game, but I guess I was wrong :P

You're a fantastic mapper and have much talent, however you should have made it at least somewhat original. You're probably going to get a cease and desist as others have said.

I have an idea on how to make things red when you are near them. But I'm working on a scary map, and I'm a little bit lazy to work on something else. So, create 2 func_brush, painted in the 2 colors you want them to be. Create a trigger_multiple around the brushes you want to change colors. Name the normal colored set something like "RedTip01Normal" and the red one "RedTip01Active". In "RedTip01Active" in the class info, set "Start Disabled" to Yes. Then in the Outputs tab of the trigger_multiple add the following outputs: OnStartTouchAll -> RedTip01Normal -> Disable OnStartTouchAll -> RedTip01Active -> Enable OnEndTouchAll -> RedTip01Normal -> Enable OnEndTouchAll -> RedTip01Active -> Disable I think this should work. If you have hard time understanding this I'll make a prefab, and tell you how to use it.
