Sorry I can't see your screenshots.
Sphinxa, it's all about being bothered to download it really. If you take such and interest in bothering to argue about these maps, then there's no harm in downloading them, you can delete them afterwards of course.
Like I said, I don't have to download it, I can see from images that it looks badly made, blocky and has shite lighting.
Nothing spectacular, actually sorta bland. It looks very underdetailed, nothing impressive to say the least. I'm talking about the second one, I can't credit you for the first because a majority of the brushwork is by Valve. not trying to be mean but it would be like someone drawing a very nice picture and someone else colors it, you can't really take credit for it because the original wasn't yours.

It says in download description that i dont take credit for the map.
Also the actual building in the second one wasnt built by me. My friend and I were working on it and he made the skeleton, then I did all the props and lighting and vents.
So you can't take credit for either of them. Nice going.
Is this a way of saying that it's not your fault that the building is undetailed because you didn't make it?
While I dont endorse decompiling and releasing, and in most ways i think IronPheonix and Sphinx have a point, but i also think that you have gotten the point already and its pointless to keep telling you the same thing over and over again. No offense guys! Next time just make your own Wig, and spend some time pollishing it up a bit more. I dont think its all that wrong to take a map and switch up the game modes, but at least make it a bit more substantially different. Try again but with a new original map that you made and then release it. :)

Thanks, a mature comment. I am making a map in the same style at the moment since these guys are accusing me of not being able to map for shit.
I first touched SDK 7 months ago. Not sure how long these guys have been mapping.
These maps stink!
I am above average for the length of time I've been mapping I have been told.
I'm sorry but no...A lot of people around here have probably been mapping since Half-Life 2 even came out, and probably some even before, such as for Half-Life 1. Either way, the amount of time you have been mapping doesn't make your maps any better or worse.
I find there to be so much wrong with the first map that I'm going to just ignore it - other people have already brought attention to its flaws so there's no need for me to repeat what you've already been told ten times. Please let me say though that I think that your second map really isn't a terribly bad effort, and you've already done so much better than many newbie mappers do on their third release with things like lighting and better brushwork.
Despite this, there is definitely room for improvement on your detail. That tunnel on the right in the second screenshot could use some more detail like trash props and decals. As for your interior, the rooms seem a bit dull, darkly lit in places, and possibly too large. This is judging by the third screenshot though.
