Making something bad on purpose for me is harder than making something good, because I got used to strict good mapping rules. This map is mostly about different never/rarely-seen-before source tricks used in a weird manner. Also: 2D4RkHaZz: I guess no, because it is still WIP, but hell, what you wanna get from that vmf? If you guys want, I will continue it. The only thing I need so far is the ideas, because, well having no limit on how shitty everything is made, I can make basically anything. Upon completeon, I will upload this to toybox.
Do a sweet bro and Hella Jeff thing based on the first comic, but instead of using ragdolls use badly cut out brushes with sweet bro and Hella Jeff textures on them. Make it activated with a button or something, and make it have a flashing game_text appear if you get close to it when it's activated that says "it keeps happening!" [editline]8th April 2011[/editline] Also I would be interested in a vmf to see how some parts work.

What is the map at the end of the third video and in the title card? The one with changing colors and large pillars?
Can someone explain the 'fog glitch' seen in the pillars map?
I thought it was colour correction :smith:
[url]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1707143/Releases/Misc/sm04_pillars.vmf[/url] Here's the map for the pillars. It had like no lighting and the lightmap scales were in the 1000s to keep filesize down. The colors came from the fog directions in the fog entity. Valve uses it to have fog that matches skybox colors for different directions. I just got a little more 'artistic' with it. lol
Oh my god, I am so stupid. I really should of known that. Argh. Im beating my self up now. I knew how that worked. Its just the way in the video the guy says in the video "thats the best use of the fog glitch" Thanks alot anyway man, Can I add you on steam?
If the pillars map is just a .vmf, can someone compile it? (With permission and correct attribution, as always)
