no that's overdone, stick all the furniture on the walls.
Added painting near the TV area, added dining area with table, 4 chairs, a painting and moved the lamp to this area so I can make that corner the lamp was in the bed area. Also made the walls a little bit bigger.

Add a fireplace ( A highly detailed one )
fix the molding and actually add light sources.
add a bed and matress. maybe a pillow.
add a swimming pool
Retexture some of it. The molding is also way too thick on the floor part, you can get away with it being that thick on the ceiling, but not on the floor.

Add a 8unit thick wall on the left small side of where the texture is split and a little bench on the other side.
The textures are too "Out there"
Never have i seen red carpet go with green & yellow walls and a white ceiling. It needs to all flow so it's pleasing to the eye and not..an eyesore.
http://www.metterra.com/images/airstudio.jpg
Use this as an example.
A white/coffee colored wall with a darker orangish carpet, with clean architecture. It all flows.
Your house is more of a messy house that the person didn't know what they wanted. It's red, green, yellow, white and a dirty (isn't that supposed to be debris) textures.
but thats just my 2 cents, i ain't no renovatin person
BTW, your window texture is out of line. Not a huge problem here, but ingame I think it would be very noticeable.
add a desk and computer.
Make a large window and have the view be of a street with cars going by with lots of other buildings.
Make a hallway and connect a few more rooms
This looks really bad. I think you'd need to work on your mapping skills somewhat. Plus, the idea is kinda unoriginal considering it's been done before (and achieved a far better result by the first page)
