Like that Halo 3 MP level where huge point defense guns will slaughter you if you go off limits. :D
I can recall two similar instances. -Crysis, in multiplayer where you must make it into the opponent base while there are large, fast turrets. It was always fun sneaking past those. If you drive into the base for the first time and had no clue about these things it can scare the shit out of you. -Borderlands, where any attempt to escape the level by sea lead to the warning, and soon death, by a tall turret.

I vaguely recall some game where an orbital strike will target you if you go out of the level. Oh wait right that was a custom level for ut2k4., The Crysis one is particularly nasty, as the suit sounds like it's injecting some lethal fluid. D:
Giant fruit
A basket of adorable squeaking puppies.
Put the map in the middle of Detona Beach and see how many people want to walk through the track. Make an end of the world effect, land drops to cliff and water turns into and infinite waterfall.
a combine wall will a dispacment.
what in the flying fuck is that supposed to mean?
A basket of adorable squeaking puppies.
Followed by an airstrike
A message saying you are a bad person if you leave.
A sign that gives away the major spoilers for Episode 3 :buddy:
Fix'd. Everyone's beaten Ep 2.
Sounds like Bad Company
Never played it. [editline]12:04PM[/editline] Damn automerge break.
A mine field? Gay Porn?
Your mom? You could make it in an obvious way as well: A giant pressure-plate-looking thing, connected to a rope and a pair of scissors, which are then connected to a giant hanging anvil. Or an angry Pitbull.
Followed by an airstrike
Yes, an airstrike of cute little ducklings.
Trees, lots and lots of trees.
Police Blockade Or a giant cliff.
A message saying you are a bad person if you leave.
The sound clip of GLADoS saying 'you are a bad person, you know, bad people don't end up here' that would scare the shit out of me. [editline]09:52PM[/editline]
BF's always done it that way, although previous BF series had less fanfare involved; You'd just die after a warning about capital punishment for desertion.
actually, in some levels, different things happen that happens in the first few levels in the next few, if you go out of bounds, the radio woman will tell you your in enemy artillary range, and then arty guns will blow you to pieces, you WON'T survive. in the last levels, if you go out of bounds, an airstrike is called in, and you get blown to smitherines
A tuft of grass, A wooden door or a sign thats says Ravenholm with a note on it saying "you sudnt come here".
You exit the map. Finally, all those hours of climbing have paid off. You are free to go. You begin your long trek through the desert, when you see a flash in the distance. It comes closer. You make out a green background, which pulsates violently. Screams, roars, cries. It is still coming. You try to turn around to get back into the map, but it's too late. The player clip barrier had come down. You turn around, and begin to scream. You make out 5 letters on a massive block: O I F Y. User has disconnected from the server (User timed out) I can write stories me
five letters?
You obviously don't know about the OIFY.

OIFY isn't as shock-ish as it used to be in 2006-2007. If you know what you're doing anyway.
