isnt it just better to have a bigger prize for the next competition? i mean it might motivate more people to enter and actually finish something. i mean sure most people might not map to win the competiton, but to learn new stuff or make a nice map, but $75 can motivate more people to finish.
You should make a list of rules next time. And properly check steam friends lists of competition participants so you know that they aren't getting friends to vote.
