Why is the floor purple? Allso, I'd make the ice a little more opaque.
Isn't there some brush entity that makes it so when you enter a certain area you can see the breath from the players mouth? I remember someone talking about it and I wondered where it was used if it was used at all then I played DoD:Source. Would be cool to impliment that into the map.
working on a EPIC map AND doing luas for a EPIC gamemode? You are awesome dude.

I thought it was for DODS, but was removed? But that makes more sense. And you could try parenting a env_steam to the player's head attachment point.

Yeah it's a bit complicated. You just set the parent to !player. Dunno how well it would work in MP/when you respawn.

Damn, where did you get that model? Only thing I can say is to make the ice have more of a "frosty" look. It looks to clear and it's hard to see. Also, could use brighter lights maybe. I got a question, are you going to texture it like a clean and neat Raptyre or torn apart hell hole Rapture? Also, maybe find a way to get the crosshairs like those in Bioshock?

0.0 I want this map. Badly. But take your time on it, don't rush things and then balls it up. You would never been forgiven. This map is epic in its own right. The HUD and gamemode and weapons...that's just...Not enough words in the dictionary for describing it's awesomness...For now I'm going with... EPIC Plus, on a side note, any ideas for a rough release date? You don't have to stick to it, just a general idea...

Foda. Idea. You know those black or see-through flaps that go between normal-heated rooms and freezers (or just freezer to freezer)? Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure, if you want to make some, you make the brushes, then tie them to a func_illusionary. Just bringing this up as an idea and possible addition.

The first really shows what I am trying to do: I wanted the rocks to look stylized, and jagged. But I can try to smooth them out.

Most likely it could, it just is that hardly anyone has ever made one this big so it isn't really seen as possible. Just look at the EVO city maps and RP_TB_thecity.
