I think there should be mutiple parts of the maps, and servers to play each part like that stesslization thing where you go to the game room and wait til it connects you to the other server..
yeah that would be a great idea, but it would make many servers... what about a HL2-style loader, so you step in the bathysphere, it goes to an other part of the city and it redirects the player to the other server....
I cannot wait for this map
Is this map dead? I most of the links are dead and the last thread from the user is from 2006 :S
Thats his join date

This is not dead! by the way if you want me I can rip some more models for you!
This is not dead! by the way if you want me I can rip some more models for you!
yea i need models. the vending machines, and the "securis" doors.
yea i need models. the vending machines, and the "securis" doors.
Do you need textures ?
yea i need models. the vending machines, and the "securis" doors.
Okay, I can get them, but to tell you the truth, just read after it and as I have 3ds max 2009, I can only give you the 3dr files...
Hm, tried to rip it off, but no luck... after I've got the ripper to launch BiosShock, there were no "ready to capture" at the top left corner... [editline]12:28PM[/editline] Okay, figured it out, got some more models... [editline]01:37PM[/editline] Ok got the securis door model, currently working on the vending machine... BTW have you noticed that this ripper exports the ripped content a bit deformed? [editline]02:00PM[/editline] Okay, the models needs refining (making it really good looking, not that shit what got exported) and the securis door would need animation... the best would be if we could make a model from the map files (BSM files)...

The 3DS files are fine because that's what I use to model, and I can animate them too. I can't open the BSM files because they are extremely encrypted.
Yeah, I searched every page... no luck... by the way could you send me a link to a trial version download of 3ds max? I have 3ds max 2009, so I can't import the 3dr files...
I will animate the securis doors (needs texturing too... the exported UV map wasn't loaded at import...) [editline]12:56PM[/editline] Or not... somehow the model is very bad for me... but I'Ll upload it for you! [editline]01:08PM[/editline] Here you go pal: http://rapidshare.de/files/47826634/securis_door.rar.html The securis door with the material and the normalmap (not applied on the model!)
ripped the bathysphere from bioshock
How did you ripped the model so good with dxripper. The models that i have ripped from games with it, have an oval shape. D: Awesome progress by the way, can't wait! :D

D: Awesome progress by the way, can't wait! :D
It is still oval, but If I had 3ds max 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 (9 would be the best... and a trial is enough) it would be like in the game...
This map needs the lighting formulas from Bioshock. It is just not the same otherwise.
It is still oval, but If I had 3ds max 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 (9 would be the best... and a trial is enough) it would be like in the game...
Well, you can download a trial version on the autodesk site. Or did you already used it.
Look, I can only download 2009, what I have, but I need 6,7,8 or 9! None of them is downloadable from autodesk now...
Did you try rapidshare or filefront?
I can't find it, and I can'T use P2P file sharing with my connection... my provider sucks... And yeah, I'Ve tried, but all those rapidshare search sites are sh*t...

http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=49958 This?
no thats the one you can only use 2 times i want the other one he posted:p
Looking great. If you were still wondering, I prefer the green water in the original post to the blue water.
no thats the one you can only use 2 times i want the other one he posted:p
you'll just have to make it cheap. change the "Lightmapped Reflective" to "Refract" in the VMT. here is the current state of things: dotted lines indicate planned but not yet finished areas. the map is also currently textured in dev textures. if anyone has ideas for shops/stores please let me know. if anyone wants to create a unique store or something, i'd gladly include it in the map. i've got the menu system done with derma too.
