Oh nice, for some reason I thought this was a revived old thread at first, then I saw a recent post saying a larger V2 will be out. Can't wait. :) I love moving vehicle maps. (like Convoy in TF2) Edit: Also does anyone know any good tutorials on making a similar map to this and convoy? I'd love to try and make my own map like it. (Only I want to make dueling airships. [img]http://d2k5.com/sa_emots/emot-v.gif[/img])

This is good, but the map is too small. It would be much better on a bigger scale.

I think this map is very good and it is quite intuitive. The only problem is space. Apart from thet though, it is a very good map!

Indeed, I want to be able to run from engine to caboose. :D Also, trailing things off of the back of the train will be cool.
Make the train go through a waterfall into a small cave (toward the middle of the waterfall to avoid the laggy "bottom-of-the-waterfall mist")

Cool map. Got some ideas: Make the boxcars hollow, have some doors closed and others open so we can jump into them and hide. Make a passenger train in the middle with only passenger cars and few flat cars. Make passenger cars hollow also, open windows or breakable glass to shoot through and doors at each end so we can walk through them.
i was making a map like this, except it only had 1 train, boxcars were hollow, and it was larger (as far as length)

A bump asking for a re-upload of a missing Gmod 9 map from 2006/7 is a bit more of a deal, but that's not what this is. Anyway, I probably should release the updated version of this (much longer and stuff.) I'll probably get around to it when I finish the map I'm currently working on. (If you remember Gm_Aftermath, think that, blended with Atomic, and covered with a light fluffy topping of awesomesauce.)
Did you add rain :D ? What about fog?

Yes, you'd run into nothing if you jump into the wall, but at least you wouldn't do that :P

I fucking love maps like this. The whole moving train thing. Since UT2k4, Too bad you can never get the physics right.
So, what became of this idea? Bumping for curiosity.
