I have gmod9 as well, perhaps that is the problem with the skybox? ...I hope not, this is a really great map.

This is really strange I have doubble checked.
Skybox files goes to materials/skybox and then there is the files.
I don't know how to explain this, I did add the right textures and it worked when I installed it. Maybe the upload had something to do with it.
Anyone know what to do?
um... maybe they need to get the skybox textures and put them in the correct folder... i don't really know about skyboxes
My skybox is in materials/skybox, I know it's in the right directory. For some reason is just won't work.
Ahahahaha! I think I know the problem. :P
Lazermaniac made me these textures, he made two versions and it seems like I accidently added the wrong version. :P
I am going to try uploading the right ones.

And it lagged a bit, I have a NVidia 5300, and it melted, so...

I am so happy I feel I'm about to implode. Or cry. Or perhaps implode into a horrendous ball of meat and salty water. Regardless, I knew right off the bat that this map will destroy every single bar that Bahamut may have set for mappers here at FPS. With a nuclear-tipped torpedo.
I got all my fans cranked up, video overclocked, ram freed, my CPU, my chipsets and video card sensors all ready incase of a meltdown.
I've never been more excited to play a map since... well... nothing equals the anxiety for a map except this one. I love you Lord M :)

Damn close. I went to the end to look at the pretty particle steams, and I accidentally looked down the ship.
My vid card's temp is normally around 20C.
It had been running at 28C.
At that moment, it jumped from ~28-29C up to 36C.
It is only rated to go to 30C max.
I REALLY need a new vid card.

Can the guns be turned (not fired) or are they just static parts of the map?

It's pretty good, it lags alot, but it's pretty fun to explore.
