It's unplayable for me, which is a major shame as it's an awesome map. *chants for a new version with optimisation included*

A map can't be a complete overtake unless a majority of the users are able to actually play it >=/
A second map could be made for the outside of the ship. Unless there's a way to get outside and get to the top of the ship without using noclip.
Actually just localising the skyboxes would be fine. I would want a seperate skybox section for the underside of the ship so that when you had the bay doors open it didn't intersect the visleaves for the top of the ship and try to draw too much stuff.

After playing this map, I had little to no lag at all the whole time. It's very detailed and beautiful, but there are too many buttons and things that are there just for looks. It could use more interactivity. But it is a dm map, and dm maps don't need much interactivity anyway. So good job, I'm looking forward to your future maps.
Uh, out of curiosity, how do i check my FPS? I want to see how good or bad mine is compared to you all.

what happened to the people who asked if they could help optimize this? there were people here. I had a cool idea for a comic for this, but I can't pose with a laggy map like this. (not too bad, but it could conflict with certain angles and rooms)

I tried on Gmod 9 and it just crashes, no chance of it working.

In the medic room there is some sort of robot arm, how do i use this? and is the teleporter outside the core meant to teleport you somewhere? Sorry if this has been asked before :)

I'm saying this because of the skull-like images on the screen and the fact that he has a picture of a stripped combine soldier in this thread lieing on the table.
It's an awesome map, but you need to optimize it LORD M.. It could be nice if us mortal people with shitty computers had a chance of running the map :)

When an areaportal is opened, everyone on the server can see into that area? Occluders i'm putting in though, especially on the wall seperating the engine room.
To everyone about all those "optimizations": If you had been in the WIP thread, then you would know that this is the Karungi II, and a Karungi III is already underway. The author (LORD M) got a LOT of help from GiGaBiTe on the map, and together they are re-doing everything. This map is released to stop us from drooling all over our keyboards, just as a filler till the III is released.

Progress on the III is slow due to the screens being gimped, but it is still progressing.

ummm...I have a question >_< when I extract the map it NEVER shows up in either of my GMOD'S do i just put it in addons? or maps? or just garrysmod!?
