The shock image was the first perma he god, he whined and sucked Craptasket's dick until he was unbanned, the rules were that any ban that was 1 month+ was a perma. Then he was just a plain retard and got banned 4 times before Craptasket banned him for a month (No perma though) for trolling. He bitched at Craptasket for "seeking reasons to ban him" and then Crap just perma'd him for being a whiny little dumb bitch that's had too many warnings. And then a rage enduced quit occured. 2 weeks later - he was back attempting to apologize. Heck even garry was involved because he bitched to him over Facebook.
I will have such fun reading all this when I become gold in a few months.
I will have such fun reading all this when I become gold in a few months.
Except Garry changed gold to 5 years, 100 posts I totally just crushed your dreams
Fo' shizzle...?
Yep. Might wanna buy gold
Don't
Lol, fuck that.
What about a contest having to do with lava? I don't see enough lava these days.
It's going to be a 3-week template contest I believe.
That's boring. Hey lets work off of somebody elses stuff.
What if the prize system worked like this: Upon entering each competitor puts a dollar into a prize bank, then the prize bank is divided among the winners accordingly. It may decrease the amount of initial entrees but most drop out anyway and everyone will have invested something into the contest (albeit a small sum) so there;s a better chance that they'll complete toe competition. Also it would allow more frequent contests because there wouldn't be as large a sum that needed gathering for prizes (if the contests were to have a prize at all). I don't know I just feel that there might be a higher rate of from entree to finish success if each competitor had a larger investment. Thoughts?
Well a lot of us have no way of contributing some sort of entry fee...
Pink slips, each entrant must put their steam account on the line, winner takes all.

Having money, having a means to transfer money or anything else beyond mapping, are completely and absolutely irrelevant.
What about a contest having to do with lava? I don't see enough lava these days.
Oh I like the sound of that. How about some medieval stuff as well?
I have monopoly :v:
Caves, Modern houses, Sci-fi, Medieval, desert, forest, underwater.....
I have monopoly :v:
I do too lovely game. :v:
My idea: Innovative, do something what hasn't been done yet (or done properly yet).
Physics Map Contest?
UDK contest
UDK contest
lol none of us know udk
Maybe someone should organise a poll with the stuff that's been suggested so far?
lava
lol none of us know udk
I do! But to be fair, it isn't as accessible as source. Also, this is technically a source mapping forum, so the comps should remain in source.
UDK contest
Since very few people here actually know UDK it would be like this. Very few people would participate and next to none will actually finish. Good idea.
I think template sounds nice. It makes it accesible and gives a good jumping off point. It could be a "Texture and add props" or a "Build-a-round"
