follow that example, it a useful example, i used it a little while ago to do the same thing on my map, not hard. I dont think you want to hit the reverse direction flag, but yo might not sure. i also want able to use the door untill i picked the use opens flag. Do you know that the door by the yellow ring/marker doesnt have a door frame?

There are a few obvious problems that are fixed by now, but only in the day version. It is starting to get a bit dense, my rubbish attempts at optimization aren't helping much.
you should release the day version for testing if it has fixed problems insted of the night version it eaiser to look for problems.

Also, since I saw you mentioning that you are a beginner at mapping, instead of going to try and recreate a huge city, think small. Now I'm now pro but even I started small. I made a box with a bunch of smaller boxes in it and made spawnpoints for ct's and T's and off we go! :v:
What I'm trying to say is, practice a lot more before you decide to do something big like this.

Important question, should I remove the subway? It is pretty much useless unless anybody has RP suggestions.
Loving the progress so far looking great! I say keep the subway, how many stops are there in the tunnels? Is it just a ( point A - to - point B ) kind of system on a line or is it circular, with like 4 stops?

I removed the subway completely because there was only one stop, but I saved it as a structure so it can be fully recovered. I guess two stops would be handy. Right now the map is going through a lot of optimization, I am shortening the buildings and making only one side visible at a time.
Are you doing this project by your self or with a group?
By myself. I had somebody helping me with it, but matters became unorganized fast.

Thanks but no thanks. I have other projects going at the moment, and will continue work on rp_lc later. Waay later. Only thing I've done since the last post is remove the dump, planning something more professional than a field with props in the ground.

ACTUALLY: Using a program called Cheat Engine, I mangaed to up the view distance to 100000000000000. I can see from one corner of the hammer grid to the other. BEWARE OF YOUR OWN HARDWARE. Hammer's limits are there so you don't break your computer.
Model view distances is a setting in hammer.

IMO, use propper for non-enter able buildings. That will greatly reduce the lag and amount of brushes. Also, I'd be interested to map a couple buildings if you throw some dimensions at me. Hit me up on steam. Usernames Radley_3
