I'll soon make drinks model and script to make it spawn like in HL2. Both the gears (always) and buttons (when you push it) are animated. As always, feel free to rate, comment, and suggest new models to do or modification to the map. INFORMATION : This map is now a double project. It is, once a map, but a model pack too. Like the swamp pack, the bullet crops pack. (TF2 Reference). If you insist I could release few props before the release If you have idea of drinks to make. Feel free to tell me. Thanks all !
i dont c any speed cola
Releasing models one at a time would be cool but it's totally up to you . If it were me and i was focusing on making stuff for other peeps while working on my map i would release some stuff but not all i'd save some stuff for a good release day. Your soda machine is cool though seems like something i would stick in the lower level shopping center of my sci-fi map which i'm far from getting to. When i do get to it though i'd stick that model of yours in a nice little nook without a doubt. I'd like to see more futuristic type stuff as you don't see it enough in the source engine usually more modern stuff really. How about the drink from Futurama Slurm! Seems nice unless your looking more for unique stuff. -Edit- Sounds cool

I'm was unclear it seems, sorry for that Herm... I don't really want to re-use drinks from futurama coz' this is already drinks. But your second pic seems cool, who did it ? (To know if I can use the same typo). I'm thinking about making a theater, not sure about it but, would it be cool in roleplay ? Thanks guys ! (I took all of your feedback)

This font -1- and this filter -2- The program is cool it's just easy to use peoples filters and make something rather quick with it, it has a 30-day trial and most things are tileable effects/textures.

Hey everyone ! I've recently been busy with my weapon pack for TF2 but I'm now back to hammer and have two little screenshot of a regular corridor for the map. I would be pleased to follow your feedback. Thanks~ !
What I'm about to say might sound harsh but I feel like I'm looking at Oskutin 2.0 here, great map but no one to play it due to the lack of role play capabilities. 1. Role players don't generally like being restricted to one building, of course there's one place in the map that will be popular but there should be other areas, and they should be diverse or people will go bored. If you're gonna go with the one building theme don't make it a series of rooms/boxes leading to other rooms/boxes. Make ventilation shafts and hidden passages, Role play is about options and that goes for moving around, we like to literally choose our path. 2. Make your map believable, the last bastion of humanity in a ravaged world you say? Your map doesn't say that, it's waaaay to clean. You either need to make a version that's grittier and shows signs of lack of maintenance, or alternatively make a good portion of the map grittier, the lower levels perhaps. The world ending has certain consequences and according to just about every piece of PA fiction produced it also makes people act like dicks, trash shit and wear leather dusters, that's just how it works. Little more oil barrel fires and a little less high polished fish tanks, that's just my opinion.
Have you played Bioshock? In some places it is prefect, but others it is completely destroyed. I think that would be very cool for this map.

Well, I got to say that I want to keep a part of the map really clean, and, It'll be easier to modify my models to litteraly destroy them. Also, I found a wonderful artwork of rapture which will certainly be remade in this map. I got to say that I'll, for now, really take Rapture as a theme. I was initially going in my own way but I like this kind of environment so much. Also, I've never seen another Bioshock themed map on source engine (Well, not really, I saw a video of a map which has been cancelled).
Have you played Bioshock? The clean and stylish one. (Current screenshot). The clean one which is now modified to be a good defensive spot. And the last one, the lower levels, windows breaked, water on the floor, etc etc. Yep, thank you guys, you gave me good ideas ! :3

Yes, I saw this. That's why I said "Yep, thank you guys, you gave me good ideas ! :3" :] Thanks anyway.
I hope you give it your own personal touch so as to not just be a 1:1 copy of Bioshock's atmosphere.
Well, the destroyed part of the map will certainly remind you Bioshock (or not if I fail .3) but the stylish one will be a mix of my imagination and "How Rapture was before Plamids" speculations. Moreover I won't take any picture reference of rapture so, It'll be imagination + memory I guess. PS : Anyone know why I can't import my .dxf directly into maya ?
I'm not entirely sure about that. But I know you can use propper and have it make a .smd for you. Then you can use that. or you can try crafty and export a .obj
Can't wait.
Wow this map is gorgeous, i hope that it's been worked on some more cause this map has some great potential.
Why so many of people is starting mapping with Art Decò style?
