This is my final entry, a four-room portal map. It is playable, can be completed, has cake, a turret, and proper lighting with cubemaps. All fitting the 128^3 size restrictions. I would have given a video, but they wouldn't record sound for some reason.

Some bugs are:
- If you dont pick up the turret before entering the room, it will prop-kill you.
- Due to the size of the walls, it may take several attempts to get a portal in another room.
I will allow 3D skyboxes. But you only got this for all your artistic entries

He should make it larger and horizontal, then have a trigger_push to simulate the pressure.
I was using the "Gushing" effect that came with EP2 because I cant make particals for shit.

I gave it a shot and I died because I touched the turret :frown: One odd bug you might have missed is that it appears the turret can't shoot through the hole in the wall to hit the player until he places a portal behind it. It's probably an issue with the turret npc so it's not really a problem with your map. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

I'm not really sure if it qualifies. It started out as a 128x128 cube, but I used displacements, then did a little vertex-manipulation in one corner to bring in two of the walls to a slant to give it a more rounded appearance. I in no way made the playable area larger than 128x128x128. The skybox doesn't close it off RIGHT at the top of the walls, or else that will make the light_environment cast shadows awkwardly (trust me, it makes a difference); but that doesn't count, does it? I also had to make walls around the displacements to seal it off from the void, but, again, it isn't a playable area. I didn't want to make a boring, perfect cube. I'm more of an outdoorsy mapper.
Let me know if you want an in-hammer shot for better clarification.

Turning the Valve will make Water come out of the faucet.
Shooting the Gas meter will make smoke come out of it (The smoke hurts you), shooting the lamp will break it and activate the other (red) one.

There's not much else to show you. However I'm going to be doing some touching up on the walls and adding some more visual elements to it to try and make it look prettier and more psychedelic.
I have a perfect idea. I might enter, not sure though.
