Put it on my server, everything shows up as an error, and textures are pink and back checkers. Not sure if I did something wrong?

Great map, and maybe as an idea for your next map you could do where the whole map takes place on the side of a mountain, and the scripted scene takes place as you battle up the side. In the spirit of gmod, don't make it too steep, maybe from the bottom of the grid to the middle of the grid. would be fully open ended with large open rock faces and fields.
Uh, I think I found a shooting star. You know those 3 building next to each other, with the one that has a zombie in it? Well, I saw some kind of formation next to them, an elevated area with a strange swirly rock in the middle and stumps around it... Tried pressing E on the rock and stumps. I think they don't have anything to do with it, but I saw a light then an explosion a few feet away. Awesome. Xhizors, is that part of the map? Because I was on MP.

That's a good idea. I might just do that!
IT lags a LOT for me. I can't move too much without it freezing. Awesome none the less.
Yeah, I didn't see an explosion or anything, but I notice consistently that if you enter and stay on that spot, everything will become slightly darker for a few seconds, and then will become light again. It's very subtle, but you can see it if you're looking.
I'm loving this map myself, and I love that you used Vortal Combat for the battle theme song, because I fuckin' love that song!
Plus, it's HUGE, and you can reach about anything you can see.
Only issues with it are the aforementioned dropship that lingers forever. Even the remover won't work on it, and it does tend to get annoying.
Plus, I notice a decent number of ground models like stumps and rocks that are hovering above the ground, marring the face of the map.
There are also certain cavities with a noticeable solid black material in them.
There's a button behind the shaft in the battle trigger building, but so far I don't see it doing anything...
With the EP2 Adapted version, does that mean all the textures pakrat'ed in?

Yeh, that would be fantastic. However you would also need to include the episode 2 models which is what I was having a problem with?

Night ver would be a nice twist to add.
Pros:
- Large with lots of detail.
- Button hidden in the shack to start a small fight with the Combine. I always found it was weird that we have maps like gm_atomic that are basically empty. Great for building or playing with friends, but lonely otherwise...
Cons:
- Not all the detail is correct; I found a few locations where [url=http://i37.tinypic.com/f1l85g.jpg]rocks or trees[/url] were [url=http://i36.tinypic.com/vdhjyo.jpg]hovering above ground[/url].
- [url=http://i37.tinypic.com/wa0m0x.jpg]Misaligned textures[/url].
- Seemingly little or no optimization at all. I may not have the hottest tech on the block, but I have more than enough for the Source Engine to run well and look well (eg. high detail and usually 60fps or above). It's ludicrous - standing on the edge of the map looking towards the center, I get single digit framerates. Even turning detail down to its [url=http://i35.tinypic.com/2d6lbty.jpg]lowest possible settings[/url] doesn't help.

Same here and I have a great PC, even when I turn all my graphics to low I get massive lag. Any ideas why that might be happening?

This is the BEST map I have played yet. You Sir are a god! AMAZING WORK! (Took out some F bombs to make it more friendly.) :D
Also, The map runs great. Fps usually above 70. No missing textures or anything like that. And that dam button. That dam button. You should put a warning about that. "Oh cool, music, OH GOD!" >.>

Having no luck getting these textures to work :/
I have ep2 and such but nothing i've tried has fixed it. Also i've noticed that there is a absolute ton of floating objects.
From the pictures and what everyone is saying, the map seems epic. Damn my lack of Ep2. Is the non-Ep2 version definitely happening? Because I will cry if not... sniff sniff...
