Okay... in addons if I try and paste the new addosn folder it asks if I want to replace my old one... I don't want to lose my addons. Will this delete my old addons and replace them with this map?

It will palce the gm_xhs_construct folder into the addons folder without delete whats in it.

What the screenshots show as grass is for me nothin' but sand, sand, and even more sand, not a hint of grass, anywhere.

Could be your graphics card.

Your displacements do not have to be of ridiculous detail and the last map this guy released was tons and tons of displacements and if I was in the far corner of the map looking towards the center, I got single digit framerates. That's pretty ridiculous. There's a way around that. If you're going to put something out there for public consumption, it is an act of politeness to be aware of the public that is going to be consuming it. Optimizing something just for your rig and your rig alone is not going to win you any favors.

So give me credit to me if some one decides to make it. just say And thx to Gurra for the idea.. oh well, The map idea is based on the really good horror movie that is named "The Shining" with "Jack Nicholson" I thought that The envirement with big hotel and creepy rooms with big horror effects would be great for a rp map or just a usual map. Just dont forgett to make the map Scary. It could be really scary if its a good map creator that makes the map. Just think about the Huge hotel with really scary and psycic stuff like black and white photos. Why dont make the map my self?.. I cant make maps. I have a lot of fantasy, but no map-making skills. So if some one wanna make the map, tell me please. My steam name is "Bromma53"

look,its a awesome map but if you are not to make a new version please compile te materials and models in the .bsp file because for me and many people posting here there is no grass only sand,i am no mapper but maybe this could resolve the problem.

Hey just so all you guys complaining about Frame rate know. Our own eyes see at around 26 FPS. So stop complaining when you get a drop from 60 to 25, you wont see any difference. At about 20 FPS it becomes a background lag, and if you lived with it like I did you get used to it. Anything lower than 20 FPS is bad lag
