Not doing every room and space and also optimizing...
Will there be AI nodes in this version, or will entdata be too much?
Nice job! The engine room reminds me a bit of the one in the Frigate level in Goldeneye.

Actually, you do need CSS, but HL2 textures are included in source engine, though. You had it backwards :/

Yeah, but the flood lights aren't even on... Also, I know its cause these are the maintenance decks, but are we gonna see the pretty cruise ship stuff anytime soon?

Are you making a sink button somewhere? to sink the ship?
Sink button was my favorite feature of the first maps and my favorite part of the second one was the very nice and unique cabins. I enjoyed exploring them each and looking for to take up.
Since there has been no real answer, have you figured out what made ship2 crash our games and if you did has it been fixed?
Is there going to be a story behind it?
I wouldn't like it if it did, why would it need one? Just say you're on a ship, cruising wherever. It's really up to the players.

Surely you could use lua to make the boat "sink". You could have a script that slowly moves the water up, changes the angle of the water and changes the direction that gravity affects you in. All of that would give the impression of the ship sinking, while it's actually staying perfectly still.

(Or so I think)
Hey I got a idea for a spawnarea. You spawn in a parking lot or inside the terminal if you don't want to make a parking lot. Then there is a sign saying "oskutin Enterprises" on the terminal. That would be awesome :v:
