The only things I really say to myself are things like "Hmm, that doesn't look right." or "Okay, maybe this would look better over here." and occasionally I will say "Nice!" If i get something that looks really good.

actually its not just mapping. i talk to myself alot :P i think i have too much stuff in my brain so my subcontious has desided that each half of my brain is a different person and i have to talk amongst myselfs to figure out some things XP i should do a video of myself arguing with myself sometime. sometimes the arguments as crappy as my voice is are so rediculus i forget why i argue with myself :P

Nope I don't talk to myself while mapping, but seeing how a lot of people are doing it, I'll give it a shot next time around and see if it helps. If I wind up in the nut-house, I'll know who to blame. :downs:
